@Bob9998 If you see the example I shared, you will notice that the guns go through the nose.. If you leave these parts clipping, and I would need to "cut them off", I will deduct points.
@asteroidbook345 Part of the challenge ;) Personally I am not looking for 100% realistic Airfix parts. The smaller models for example tend to be less complex and have more whole parts (similar to the example I gave above).
Though there are some parts I wish this game introduces in later updates as I mentioned in this post
@Eeveemaybe your build is sadly a bit too simple for the challenge. Would recommend you read through the challenge requirements and try again. Don't need to make anything complex, but at least put some effort into it.
@SodiumChloride @232287168147825
the weight rules are NOT for the base game parts but for any additional dead weight added or removed mass scale using xml codes.
I have added this rule to make it challenging for people intending to make a pose for their plane. Plus your vehicle won't be moving, so technically it shouldn't make a difference anyway and there's no reason for you to add or remove said weight to begin with..
I will edit the rules a bit to make it clearer what i mean
Personally not a fan of the exagerated armament, however I do like the shape of the plane! You should have gone with doing custom wheels too! Would have been nice to see a more sturdy landing system
@asteroidbook345 if you are forced to skip the 1000 part mark, you score will drop. You will not be disqualified.best of luck!! I'm looking forward to building it :)
I built the plane, It was a fun ride to build!
A small note that there are a few XML edits were noted, however I will not be stingy about it because it does not affect the final product. [Small penalties still imply]
@RamboJutter Perhaps you could revert the XML values back once you finish the build and remove the Wing game part from inside the wings - Reducing the amount of game parts used
@Tang0five I got the idea when I asked a friend to 3D print my Aquan plane. I had to disassemble it for him to print it without wasting too much resource on supports.
If there's a winner for the competition, maybe you can commission someone to 3D print the model for you to build in real life?? Just throwing a suggestion....
@RamboJutter - Build the plastic kit on Simple planes for me to build and paint as per instructions stated above. See the example posted above to have an idea what I'm talking about.
Since the plastic kit won't be flying, driving or sailing (or any combination), Weight balancing shouldn't make a difference unless you put it on a stand and its weight balance is off.
The challenge is for me to build the plane, and make it in a pose without it falling off. I discouraging that you use any weight advantage, or XML edit your way out of an awkward pose...

RULE UPDATE: 29/06/2020 22:33 CET
Thanks for entering the challenge - I will update you with the score once the deadline of the Challenge comes to an end :)
@HellFireKoder Thanks for getting back :) and thanks for letting me know. Any possibility of having kick or ban vote system? adding sggestions
very cool design! keep up the good work!
Is it possible to introduce administrative controls? Remove players? Limit part count? that kind of thing?
My entry for the challenge. Thanks for reminding me how fun this game can be when you keep things simple :)
Smooth flyer, lots of fun to fly! Would be awesome if this joins my airfix challenge
@asteroidbook345 No that's fine! You've done a terrific job :)
RULE UPDATE: 26/06/2020 20:05 CET
Built it, it was pretty challenging! Will let you know of the results once the deadline arrives :)
Looks fantastic!! I will build it and will let you know :)
@MadBeaver2
Pretty interesting try, however I would recommend you read through the Airfix challenge rules to get a better score.
@MadBeaver2
Deadline is 31/07/2020 - about a month from now
Just built the model, it's a fantastic build!! Keep up the good work!
this looks ammazing! Fantastic job!
If you're looking to drop the part count, i suggest removing or changing the interior with simpler parts.
@asteroidbook345 Not a problem
@asteroidbook345 Why not! Looking forward :)
@Poomch980 My entry your Military Challenge

@232287168147825 ooh now i understood you. Yes it's a 5 point constant. NOT per part.
Once again, another Excellent Model!!! I will build it up as soon as possible and will score it :)
I will reveal the score once the challenge ends.
@Eeveemaybe your build is sadly a bit too simple for the challenge. Would recommend you read through the challenge requirements and try again. Don't need to make anything complex, but at least put some effort into it.
got a bomber in my list but I don't wish to reupload it. Could I link or do you still want a successor post?
Congrats on reaching gold ;)
RULE UPDATE: 25/06/2020 10:45 CET
@232287168147825 drag scale makes no difference. As long as the model rests on a platform or stand without falling, you're in the clear.
as i mentioned before
DEAD WEIGHT
or
XML MASS SCALE
or
FUEL
will deduct points
your model could weight 32,000,000 lbs. that won't make a difference, as long as it's not because of the above points
@232287168147825 not a problem. If you need to used them, it won't disqualify you. So don't worry too much.

this needs a b-36 bomber to take off from ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
join my airfix challenge?
@RamboJutter No worries and no rush. The deadline is 31/07/2020. I'm hoping the other participants will give their entries in by the deadline?
@Genzer11 I absolutely understand that. Tends to happen a lot on smaller bits.
Wow did not expect this plane to get any attention! Flies as elegantly as a livid hummingbird hahaha xD
@Beyjuan what do you mean?
@Oxyea It is only a personal opinion, I'm pretty sure a lot of people here prefer planes to be that way
Personally not a fan of the exagerated armament, however I do like the shape of the plane! You should have gone with doing custom wheels too! Would have been nice to see a more sturdy landing system
@EternalDarkness thank you, most appreciated :)
@EternalDarkness - Kindly tag my plane to @Veronica 's Cold war challenge please...
@Veronica - My entry for your Cold War Challenge
@RamboJutter 2 entries, however if both planes get top 4, you will be rewarded on your best one.
@rexzion Looking forward :)
@RamboJutter it's fine, you still got a very good score ;)
@asteroidbook345 if you are forced to skip the 1000 part mark, you score will drop. You will not be disqualified.best of luck!! I'm looking forward to building it :)

The scoring system has been updated.
@RamboJutter no issue with drag since the models won't be tested against wind but against gravity. That much I will allow you to keep.
@RamboJutter Perhaps you could revert the XML values back once you finish the build and remove the Wing game part from inside the wings - Reducing the amount of game parts used
