You've put a lot of time on this! I saw your pics and was like "wait a second! He stole this from that guy who made one over the summer!" Then I checked, and it was just an earlier teaser from you back in August. Anyway, plz link me when you're ready, she looks great!
Complicated organic shapes like the B1 fuselage usually require multiple blocks in the same place. THIS IMAGE shows the cross-section of the fuselage from nose to tail. Towards the nose, a simple train of curved or circular blocks do the job. But as the fuselage widens into the wing gloves (the flared out parts that house the swing-wing machinerey) two lengths of blocks are needed to get the right shape: one for the vertical part in the middle, and a flatter, wider block shape for the flared wing gloves.
This is a pretty challenging aircraft to build. There's a reason why so few people try even though it is such a famous plane. Don't be discouraged if it gives you trouble.
I've seen them use pistons or rotators. There was a bit of a craze for it a few years back and a handful of really good ones were posted. Use the search tool and I'm sure you'll dig some up. The only problem is some worked using glitches that may be fixed now.
I messed around trying to build one that would flap every time I hit the brake button, but I'm no good at that stuff.
Your main landing gear should be located directly under the main wings. Your plane should be able to safely do a "wheelie" as you go down the runway. If the main landing gear is too far back, and the nose wheel is too long then bad things will happen. All this is assuming your plane is not a tail dragger.
This Mig looks great. I love the overall shape and the decals everywhere. My only complaint is the afterburners: the Farmer was designed before engineers had developed variable exhaust nozzles that changed shape. So instead of modern "feathered" tail pipes, the Mig-19 features wide open exhaust tubes that never squeeze or change shape.
@RamboJutter I have a feeling it just didn't get spotted fast enough to hit the front page. Obviously, WW2(yay) and Anime(yuck) rule the front page, but we see plenty of old "Bipes" make it there as well. I really like how you took your 'what-if' style and applied it to the Great War. You're kind of like a concept artist, you know?
I've found it's best to just have shocks for show. When it comes to realistic aircraft weights, especially modern aircraft, they're just too much trouble. Even if you can get them to work after many hours of frustrated tinkering, the landing gear tends to be so springy that the plane bounces down the runway like a pogo stick.
@Planicopter Be sure to learn about gyroscopes and carefully manage your centers of thrust and mass. Tilt rotor aircraft are tricky but fun, there's a really good one on the front page.
@AWESOMENESS360 This is some pretty advanced upvote avoidance. Your skill here is undeniable and my eyes are in quite a bit of pain. Hopefully any potential uploaders will ignore the sticky post at the top of the Forums and instead create a series of posts of their own asking how to do various text formats. An individual post for each question, of course.
@TanksWorldwide Yeah, wow. You really have been following a lot of these. Your tanks are pretty good, too. Once you figure out how to smoosh a bunch of wheels to make tracks you'll be good to go.
They're always innovating, aren't they?

Aw come on man, don't drag Jundroos name into your fanfic. Come up with your own goofy name.

@Northsoutheastthrop That's ok. When I started out, my planes looked like THIS lol
It took me a long time to get better. I mostly just took apart other people's stuff to learn how to make things.
@Northsoutheastthrop Thanks! The funny part is I wanted to do a Lancer but figured it was too difficult so I made this instead. lol
@Northsoutheastthrop I've got the B-1's older brother, the Tu-22M Backfire on my profile if you're looking for a supersonic bomber ready to fly.
@Northsoutheastthrop Convair B-58 Hustler, Dassault Mirage IV, Avro Vulcan

Welcome to the sound barrier, this is a real life thing that happens. Just follow the xml cheat the others have mentioned and it'll go away.
This is really good

@MrSilverWolf Aw, I miss talking to you on discord

@rexzion Nobody's perfect, we're all getting better

Mine-what? Never heard of it.

@Typhoon_ Very interesting

The deHavilland Vampires ancient ancestor.
Hey, sorry. I didn't see it or I woulda footed it for sure. On my way right now.
I bet you're pretty good on the harmonica. I mean, it's hard to be great at harmonica, but it's easy to get decent at.
It's a national shame that she wasn't made into a museum. You did good work here
@zzoop Yup, there are controls for how you want the wind to blow as well.
Looking great
@TanksWorldwide Hmmmm, try disabling the suspension
@BagelPlane Weird how people can spend so much time on something and still do that
Is that Vodoo too big or are the two interceptors much too small?
Sir Mixalot approves

RIP my poor long suffering i5 from 2012
Looks great! Tag me when she's ready!

You could do a tilt-rotor flying boat. Then it would be all three!
Don't forget Belphegor!

@nakyo03 Hell yeah dude, good job
@Sm10684 Because I care too much!

@Defalt1 Sorry dude, some people just got skills
@JustDatGuy Maybe, but I want to help them
@JustDatGuy You know what? I have no idea why anyone would. But I see about 30 or 40 people following most of this list every single day.
@WereOutOfNamesArentWe I got you fam
@Highground What a cruel irony
