Take apart some high rated builds, see what the other guy did to make them awesome, do that. Otherwise, read some tutorials about xml modding, funkytrees and EterntalDrankness tutorial on how to make wings.
@CharlesDeGaulle I highly doubt many people have had the opportunity to see the J-20 "on the radars" at all. A key aspect of signals intelligence is to not give potential enemies the opportunity to scan your aircraft, that's why the US refused to deliver F-35's to Turkey when they started using Russian made radar.
Stealth is not a yes or no question. Just because radar or other sensors can detect an aircraft under certain circumstances doesn't mean that it can always be detected. Just because an aircraft has "stealth capabilities" does not mean it cannot be detected sometimes. Outside influences like weather, jamming, or even simple competance can have a major impact on detection. Also, keep in mind that radar is not the only means of tracking a potential target.
Finally, the main consideration for stealth is to keep ones "signature" as small as possible. If the J-20 is designed to minimize its radar and thermal signatures than it will be harder to detect than an aircraft designed without this consideration. That may not make it invisible, but it can buy precious time during the opening moments of an engagement.
There are two main roads you can take here: the real life method (which I do not recommend) or the cheaty method (which is easier).
The real life method is that you learn funkytrees, and use a sophisticated set of input instructions to control a carefully positioned array of control surfaces including elevons, air brakes and spoilers. For fighter aircraft you would also need to use thrust vectoring.
The cheaty way is to build a pair of large vertical tails, xml mod them to be tiny and then hide them inside the fuselage of the craft. A powerful gyroscope could be another way of simulating the complicated fly-by-wire system used by modern tailless aircraft.
I got the UH-1 Huey module for DCS on steam summer sale a couple years ago. It took me a matter of minutes to discover that me and helicopters do not mix. Holy crap there are so many ways to crash a helicopter that you'd never expect, it's amazing.
@Starbound Helicopters are dangerous, nauseating, loud contraptions and I hope I never have to ride in one. But they're also the best tools for a wide variety of critical tasks and also a huge part of the history of the 20th century. To say they are "inferior" to fixed wing craft is like saying a shovel is inferior to a hammer.
In real life, the faster a helicopter flies forward, the more it pulls to the side. This gets worse until the helicopter reaches a point where it can't maintain a steady course. If you're interested, you can read about it here. I've never built a chopper so I don't know if it happens in SP, but if your helicopter does this don't worry, it's normal.
You made a military plane. Like, with bombs and stuff! This is a pretty good approximation of a Fitter, very believable. The camo looks great! I would totally spotlight this if you didn't have like 6x as many points as me.
Did the variable sweep give you any trouble? I had a hell of a time with it on mine, simulating the changes in drag and getting it not to fly all stupid in all the different settings. And even then, it still has a bug where the wings sweep forward (X-29 style) if you change settings during a high-G turn.
The new MSFS lineup is entirely general aviation planes (unless I missed something) and the two best G-A builders on here that I know of are @MrSilverwolf and @JamesPlanesii so definitely check out their post history.
This is why I could never be a mod. I'd just delete this thing for false advertising, and then giggle at you when you made another post 5 minutes later about how unfair I am. How is a pair of memes from three years ago complaining about moderators (the most played out subject ever) supposed to be dank? I just lack the self-discipline I guess.
Seriously though, all this scheming on how to get upvotes is pointless. You get attention for building good stuff. You build good stuff by learning how to build good stuff. You learn how by downloading good stuff other people have made, tearing it apart and studying it.
It doesn't matter what you build, if it's good people will like it. Except anime. Anime stuff doesn't get upvotes.
@Hellosss38 Sorry, I'm not building this one. I'd love to see one made, but I just finished a strategic bomber and I'm kinda done with them for a while.
@Ryn176 Assuming the maintenance crew had adequate protective gear, I can't imagine it would've been much worse than the mechanical nightmare the B-36 already presented. Its engines weren't designed for reverse-installation and often had cooling and icing issues. Each of the 6 engines had 28 pistons, a turbocharger and a supercharger and that was on top of the 4 jet engines to take care of.
Has images? Check.
Images are of project in question? Check.
Yup, this is a proper teaser. Take notes, children.
Hey obvious troll account, how about you go somewhere else?
Pew pew pew!
This was used in a very strange music video a long time ago.

+1Just use xml to modify the scale of a chain of wheels to look like tracks.
@IamD It's weird how equipment like that, which was only intended to be used for a few months, can outlast so many things.
Yo, that Panther is awesome!
@IamD you are not a moron, everybody makes mistakes.
Open xml save file with text editor. Use 'find and replace' feature. Profit.
+1There is a post stickied to the top of the Forums that explains this stuff. It is literally the very first post you can see.
Visually stunning

Please build a PZL M15 Belphegor jet powered biplane, thank you.

+6@BigBeast Ok. That's a relief. Good luck.
@Ploper185 This guy should be suitable. It doesn't have a fancy livery, but it will run well on any device
NO THANK YOU!

What blasphemy is this?!

@Ploper185 Like, 737 sized commercial planes? Because if they're smaller than that, Wolf and James got you covered.
@PoyuToyu Sure thing! Hang in there

@BigBeast Thanks dude. Be sure to run the Green one, the blue one had too many parts.
@PoyuToyu I only see a handful of posts on your upload list. You've got potential, hang in there.
You've got a great sense of shape and scale. Your next step should be learning to do details like 3d control surfaces, engine pipes, decals etc.
@BroAeronautics Was the a Gen. Grievous joke?
@rexzion That works.

Hello there

@CrazyCatZe This
Angry upvote.
I've always liked the J-8, kind of a strange history.
I see you've made use of the concave shape discovery.
@Hellosss38 Oh, ok, so the computer from Portal.
@Hellosss38 Not a clue. Kinda reminds me of Portal.
@Hellosss38 Oh!
@Hellosss38 What is that thing?
@Hellosss38 Sorry, I'm not building this one. I'd love to see one made, but I just finished a strategic bomber and I'm kinda done with them for a while.

Now that you mention it, I hadn't really thought about it that way. Kind of a revelation.
+1I didn't know about this one
