@fantasyucakistan this is a very old build. It could use a complete remake. Game's physics have been somewhat updated since this was built, and it wasn't a very good build to begin with.
I suggest joining PortSP Discord server if you are interested in learning more about building ships in Simple Planes. It's a dedicated shipbuilding server. Here's the invite link.
I would expect it to lift more (the most interesting trait of S-boot was that both bow and stern lifted while still cutting the water instead of planning on it), and more tolling in turns. It would be nice to see the spare torpedoes actually pushed in when reloading.
Other than that, very nice boat. Great details, fun to use, and accurate.
I didn't catch your reply on the previous post before it was removed. What was it?
By the way, you can put that cool picture you used there in description.
Thumbnail has to show the build as it is, not a picture of what it was supposed to look like. It's in the rules.
I advise removing this post and posting it again, before the moderators get here.
Nice build, by the way.
@Lerkov1991 it's an abandoned build. It was made over a year ago, and I don't want to update it to the current standard. You can play with it though. Here it is.
@VanNick2309 did you build this from scratch? If so, or if you are interested in building ships on SP, you should join PortSP, a Discord server I run with some friends that focuses on building ships.
As for the community, most of of the people here are happy to help as long as you're polite and follow the rules.
When transferring the build from one device to another or making an online backup, upload as unlisted. You can select to upload as unlisted in your upload window in the game. To do that, click on the blue button that says "Public" so it turns into "Unlisted". Only you can see your unlisted posts.
@asteroidbook345 the usual rule is that a 120mm gun can be reloaded by hand using the casing (shell and propellant as one unit). 130mm is a stretch. 152mm either requires a two-piece payload (separate shell and propellant) or an ammo hoist. Keep in mind that mass increases cubically. Shell for a 122mm gun is around 20kg, shell for a 152mm is around 40kg, up to a bit over 50kg.
@asteroidbook345 this is not a low velocity gun you see om ISU-152 or KV-2. This is a 6t high velocity naval gun.
The biggest gun fitted to a tank during WW2 and in the late 40s was a 130mm high velocity gun, and even that showed significant drawbacks. It has a fairly low rate of fire, even though is was a later gun, it has too much recoil, too much weight, ammunition is way too big and heavy, it needs too many people to operate...
Technically, you can fit this gun to an armored chassis, but you won't achieve anything with it. It's a naval gun.
James, this game relies heavily on the community. We are all sharing our skills and techniques with each other, mostly on Discord. Check out the servers list (pinned post). Funky Trees Lab is the one you need for this specific issue. That server specializes in developing inputs, helping people find the right input, and teaching you how to make your own. You can get some basic help with FT in most other servers, and pretty much anyone who has used variables on builds can explain how they work.
On the other hand, I did try to push for a more comprehensive guide for new players. Last I checked, tutorial still only shows how to use old blocks. New tutorial should make the player use fuselage cutting, and the game should contain a link to the useful guides and information.
@GabrielFangster70 yeah, I have slowed down quite a bit lately. I have some better builds under construction, this was supposed to be just a detail for one I gave up on.

+1@UrLocalGallade definitions of a corvette vary, though this ship indeed fits most of them. Its design is even based on an actual corvette.
+1You should have used a camera for pilot view, so I can keep it on the instrument panel while fiddling with buttons. Other than that, nice build.
+1Oh, hi Jasp. I haven't noticed it's you.
PS: I upvote what I like, regardless of who made it.
+1@KingOfTypos They are very nice indeed. I'm glad that you have found my technique useful.

+1Very nice. It's rair to see a cruiser from the first word war on this site.
+1@Diloph there's both auto-credit and description credit.
@HuskyDynamics01 nice upgrade.
Strange puppy. Has a bit of an explosive temper.
+13@BgGaming it's some ancient background mod whose name I forgot. I don't have it anymore.
@ReinMcDeer no. RPČ-214 river patrol boat.
+1River patrol boat.

@jamesPLANESii indeed. It's not a beast, but it can run this build just fine.
+1I can finally play with your builds.
+1Very nice work, I really enjoyed it.
@WaitBreadIsntAfruit I used to be a mod. I'm not anymore.
@Vincent would you mind?

Nice build, by the way.
Credit for the original build would be greatly appreciated. As per the rules, you should give it.
+2I don't really mind, but others could.
Very nice ship.

+1I really like these kinds of builds. They are rare on the site. Thingies that are cool in real life, but can't really be used on SP.
+2You have missed the career, Andrew. You should have been an actor.
+19Very nice video, and the best April Fools so far.
@FRIGGLES I'm glad to hear that.
+1@FRIGGLES you can download this and check. One good way to learn could be literally making a copy next to this original.
+1@RaendyLeBeau thanks.
@Cope sort of, depending on what you consider Yugoslavia. I was born in 1995.
Another little piece of advice, give your ships names, maybe a bit of a story, and try to show them well in screenshots.

@VanNick2309 it's not really a problem, and I'm only the former management of the site. Only here to help.

@asteroidbook345 just because it happened in Japan doesn't mean it happened in real life (:
Besides, that's a 12cm gun. This is 15.2cm gun.

That's a very detailed detail.
+3@Ihavesnowball considering that it was meant for a ship that would carry twelve of them plus assorted smaller artillery, this is a lot of parts.
@ChrisPy thanks.
@Kingmjm0000 you did credit in description. That's good enough for this.
+1@asteroidbook345 this gun is far too big for a tank. Heavy SPGs started using 150mm only much later, when metallurgy allowed big guns to be lighter.
@KerlonceauxIndustries @Kangy thanks.
+2@FRIGGLES I don't know. I don't count that. Fifty-ish, I guess.
+1@FRIGGLES nice.
+2@FRIGGLES sure.
@FRIGGLES thanks.
+1@FRIGGLES yes, I was asked to develop a stock build with a gun on it when cannon was first released, as cannon part was mostly my idea.
+1I'm not sure you want the gun to elevate with the sight, especially on a mortar. You can't see where you're shooting at greater distances.
