@RAF1 that's not what it was originally about. You were talking some very ugly stuff about us. It saddens me to hear that you guys could have such an opinion about us without even knowing us. I am doing my best to be fair to everyone on this site, and so do most of other members of our group. And this is what we get.
@RAF1 you have a bit of a contradiction there, buddy. "The SP Underlings chat isn't bad and it doesn't corrupt what you have established with the Master Chat." implies that you are not intending to cause trouble. On the other hand, "Have fun dealing with us." suggests otherwise.
I never said that all good builders are on our chat, or that anyone should feel bad about not being on it. Also, we respect and support other groups. I am in a few chats, both groups and "private", with lower ranking users, where I hang out with them, teach them my tricks, etc. I'm also a member of Dllama4's Builders Group.
@JosephB2001 I never said that Tully's builds are bad. I like them. But tastes in the group differ, and everyone has a right to vote. We are not, unfortunately, a group of all good builders. Some are rejected for reasons I find a bit dumb, but still, I can't overrule a vote. We are a democracy.
@Redecm you are very good for your level. Keep progressing, and you'll be more than good enough for Masters by the time you are gold. Also, you say you are 13yo. Despite there being a rule against explicit material in our group, it's not exactly child-friendly.
@MrDoolittle I don't spend a week straight in the editor. I spend around two hours of my spare time a day on SimplePlanes, sometimes a bit more. I also like my builds to both look and perform realistically. That includes a lot of research, so I can know what is realistic. Fine details take time, and so does perfect balancing of a plane. It also happens that I lose motivation or inspiration, and spend half an hour just looking at an unfinished plane. I also don't consider SimplePlanes a game, like other games. I used to make wooden gliders a lot, and draw planes, before I had SimplePlanes. SimplePlanes replaced those two hobbies, as it gives more options for less money. Some people spend months and hundreds of dollars on model planes. I have spent around $250 including buying a laptop. As for people spending an hour on builds like mine, I don't think I saw any one of those. It does take a lot of time. Finding inspiration, finding realistic, constructionally plausible, cost effective way of adding all the parts that a plane needs on a fictional build takes knowledge of those parts and systems, and actual construction of a plane, if you want them to be realistic. Half of my building time is spent on planning how to install a desired feature.
@Dllama4 I was lucky to be noticed by Cedy117 and DeezDuckz early on. They provided some good critics, that helped me improve. Also, I was uploading a lot.
1: You are mostly a gun builder. What keeps you with guns?
2: Where do you get your inspiration and motivation?
3: Why do you make so many forum posts?
@corsair013 you have some very sweet builds. However, that's not a constant quality. You are a good builder when you try hard, but that's not every time. You get into the group if a member suggest that we add you, and five or more members vote "Yes".
@PhantomBladeCorp you are also on my list of people to suggest, but it's a very long list. Hopefully, you'll join us on the chat, but I cannot guarantee it due to the fact that we are all voting for new members.
@Dllama4 it's all right. Situation seems to be fixing itself. I don't hold a grudge against you, and helping defuse the situation on the "Underlings" chat is, for me, more than enough to negate the fact that you are a member there. You are still on my list of people who I consider suitable for Masters group.
@General360 as for you being added to the group, unfortunately, I don't see that happening in near future. This is the same Hangouts group chat you were a part of before you left, and there were arguments. Many old users from there still hold a grudge, and would vote against adding you. If it was up to me alone, I would wait and see what you can do with your newly-gained xml abilities, and help you refine them, since I suppose you are new to that, and then I would add you.
Also, I see you are done with your depression. A week of being back, and you still haven't caused any drama. I'm very glad to see that.
@MrDoolittle how much time do you spend per build? Most of su from Masters often spend more than a week on a single build, building for a few hours every day. It's dedication that we are looking for, and that is seen in one's posts. For example, Cedy117 used to be an iOS builder, but his builds from that period are better than most builds made on PC. That level of skill and dedication got him on the chat. Are we better builders than you? We are a group of people who spend whole lot of time trying our best to be good at this. I even invested into a laptop just so I can overcome limitations of my phone. I'm generally not using it for anything else. That's how much we give ourselves to this game.
@Weaverfish both. Example of a low part count builder who I've been following from the start is Luciozanazzi. He makes light aircraft with realistic looks, amazing handling, and low part count.
@Viper28 we all start with bad. @Dllama4 is maintaining a constant good quality for a while now, and has caught my eye, and maybe of some other users on the chat. That's how adding people works. I scrolled through some of his posts, and he's good enough in my opinion. But, well, this happened.
@KDS I understand that. But that's not what other users from "Underlings" were saying. JAWC is in to cause drama, and others were in for our reputation.
On another account, @Dllama4, this has turned out very unfortunate. You are getting good, and made it on my "to suggest for voting" list. Chances are, you were a month from being added.
@KDS I am pretty much getting a live photo stream from your group as I'm typing this. You made a group out of people who know and appreciate me. As for groups, I don't have a problem with groups forming, as long as they are decent, friendly, and not hostile towards us. Make your own, and stay away from ours please.
@helilover03 really? That's nice. Maybe you can add me there, if it's on Hangouts. If some of the guys wanna learn tricks, I have quite a few of those tho show.
@JakeTheDogg maybe. Why don't you also make a suggestion, with a few other models? These are the ones that I thought suit the purpose the best. Brahmos is nice, but these three are icons.
@helilover03 you could do it. You do have some potential. Try, and try hard, to replicate shapes from real planes, even when building fictional ones. That's the key. Also, do understand that we invest days, sometimes weeks into every build. Quality isn't easy. I hope you'll go down that path.
@Solarisaircraft all it lacks are windows and a mast for radar and antennas. You can make that on iOS. Takes a bit of time and skill, but it can be done
@Supercraft888 apology accepted. I hope we won't have any further incidents of this kind.
@Sparrow007 thanks
@SlowJet it's Toshiba, customised second hand. 8GB RAM, Intel i5 dual core processor
@Halphas no problem

@MasterLobster then someone must make HMS Sheffield, so you can simulate that action on Multiplayer :)

@helilover03 could you post a link to his profile?

Nice. I'll check it out when I get home.
@Dllama4 I was lucky to be noticed by Cedy117 and DeezDuckz early on. They provided some good critics, that helped me improve. Also, I was uploading a lot.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing he is good. Not too active in the community, and I'd rather wait for him to get even better, but he's good.
@EpicPigster1 no problem

@TheNightmare811 it's Google Hangouts based group. I'll have you in mind for one of the future votings

@LiamW @CoolPeach thank you for understanding

@General360 I'm sure you will. Also, Overload mod. Allows you to do most of the xml editing without leaving the editor
@TheMutePaper of course. We sen a notification via comment on an unlisted post.
@General360 It's nice. I didn't fly it, I'll have to do that when I'm back at my laptop. Visually, an improvement over your old stuff is obvious.
@General360 no problem, buddy

@General360 that's fine by me. I remember we did have a few arguments, but that was long ago. Welcome back and enjoy your stay :)

@Shmexysmpilot by scaling the cockpit to be shorter

@MrDoolittle don't be disrespectful please.
@helilover03 please stay out. I appreciate your help, but we can solve this ourselves. No need for you to get in potential trouble.
@MrDoolittle look a bit down
@KDS just to assure you that I'm telling the truth
@KDS I am pretty much getting a live photo stream from your group as I'm typing this. You made a group out of people who know and appreciate me. @helilover03 nothing wrong in having fun. This is a game after all. Enjoy it your way by all means.
@helilover03 I can't. Everybody's skill is different. I can't assess if you are rushing them, or not having ideas to build realistic.
@helilover03 no problem buddy.

You forgot to mention jump zone :)
@Tully2001 eh, in a way that they should have more details, I guess
@Tully2001 some of the guys voted against you, unfortunately. They think that your builds should be far more detailed.
@KerlonceauxIndustries yes, Exocet is French for flying fish
