This would, in 1:1 scale, be an average WW2 destroyer of over 100m. It's a nice ship, but misses the challenge specifications. You might want to reupload it as not a successor to my challenge, so I don't get successor points for a ship I won't rate. However, I do like it. Tag me on it when you reupload it, or tell me to upvote this one.
@Pilotmario there have been experiments, yes. If you go for a ultramodern concept, you can use it, just mind the proportion (small ship can't withstand a recoil of a big gun, no matter what propellant you use). 120mm mortar would be fine, as it has a lot less launch force than a cannon. Still, what are you gonna shoot with a mortar at sea? They are terrible for moving targets, and even worse from a moving platform.
@aguy it does a lot of damage. Knocks out a convoy truck in one hit. But you have to use slow motion, else the flare goes right through the target without doing damage.
@Pranav06 thank you. Vehicle should work well even without slow motion, although controls are optimised for keyboard input. Yeah, it's a bummer mobile can't use slow motion.
@Redstreak45 eh, what do you mean by "new new plane"? Every one of my builds is a unique design, borrowing some solutions from existing aircraft so that they are realistic.
@FlyingManiac there's still a recoil problem. Since you can't use explosive shells, you need a lot of power on the launch. Every action has equal and opposite reaction. So, in order for railgun to be effective, it has to be big and powerful. It has to push a projectile with a lot force, which is the same force pushing back on the gun. The fact that there's no explosive propellant doesn't change that. For that you need reinforced deck and hull, plus the weight of generators, plus the weight of the gun, and all that above waterline, making ship unstable. A shot would flip the boat.
@FlyingManiac and as long as your ship can generate enough power. Railgun, even a small one, uses enough electricity to power a village. There's also no point in having a small railgun. It's only effective at long ranges due to kinetic energy of the projectile. And yes, modded guns are allowed. All xml is allowed.
You need more spotlights? I rarely use more than two or three a week. Use spotlights for amazing builds by people who have fewer than average followers.
@Texasfam04 make a build to represent your challenge. This is spam. Also, prove that you are competent to judge off roaders by making at least a few that'll score high (20+ upvotes). This is spam.
This is a very nice boat. I can see you took a look at my boats (CF gun, custom gun camera, underwater props). Nice details, very functional, well crafted. Shame it's not on my challenge. I can accept it even without it being a successor if you put a link to it in the comments of my challenge.
@PyrusEnderhunter I am. I was looking for some tank concepts. Apparently, I'll have to start from nothing. Armata is good, but too tall for my taste, and I want unmanned turret. I might have something in mind, but i'll let it brew until tomorrow. I also have half a dozen of finished unuploaded builds, and some ongoing projects, so I won't be making a tank anytime soon. I'm off to sleep now.
@PyrusEnderhunter it's the design that's bothering me. I can't come up with a good enough tank design. And as for collabs, I don't make any compromises on my builds, and I like to have access to up-to-date version of my build anytime, because I never know when I'll be in a mood to work on it. That makes collabs pretty much impossible. Only 'collabs' I ever did were helping people with some minor details they can't make because they can't xml edit stuff.
@PyrusEnderhunter woah, wrong guy. I'm not really good at tanks (haven't made one since my first try on tanks, which was not quite good), and I suck at collabs.
@BogdanX lol. No need for medals and prizes. I'll win big from your entry to my challenge, so it's only fair to give some back :). There'll be better entries than mine for sure.
@Datom I personally never took build requests. That's what people who can't think of anything to make do.
@Datom that comes with time. Keep pushing for improvements.
@Planefun that sounds nice
I just started following you. You have some nice builds.
@Planefun it's fine. Happens to everyone. I'm glad it's all good now.

+1Not quite a new thing, but still, good thing you are popularising it.
Very good looking. Thanks for the entry.

Yes, it does. Looks pretty nice too. Thanks for the entry.
You are standing on it. Other planets don't have beer, cigarettes, and good music. Thus, they don't qualify for consideration.
@TheLatentImage I'm glad to hear that.

It's nice. But the bow is still way too sloped.

Lol
@N124Hawk try to set it to camera button (if your phone has one, a physical button), or to a button on your headphones (works in around 15% cases).
Hey, that's our (Serbian) plane. Are you making a replica? I'd like to see one of these on the site.
@Redstreak45 I have a plane based on IA-58 Pucara in the works. I'll probably upload it soon.
@Darkpluto thank you. It's the first CF (chaff-flare) gun used on the vehicle on SP.

@FGW2014 I am :)
@Blue0Bull lol, I explained to Bogdan why challenge should be more specific in terms of entries.
@Kimcotupan15 great. I'm glad to have it here.
Very cute

@Dllama4 my last name. It was in my old username.
@Jerushah no problem
@RailfanEthan @DJ123 thanks
@Pilotmario thanks. I'll rename it later if I don't forget.
@Fjorge did you put it on a frame with parachutes?

@PyrusEnderhunter thanks. What question?
@Sgtk thank you
@WOOPTYWOOP212 far from being a tank. I had a tank quite some time ago, but it was nothing special.
@BogdanX lol. No need for medals and prizes. I'll win big from your entry to my challenge, so it's only fair to give some back :). There'll be better entries than mine for sure.
@grizzlitn thanks
@phanps thank you
Very functional. Good job with boat doors. My only ship with boats had a simple ramp in the rear.
+1@blueshirtandjeans it's fine.
Very nice. Just a bit too fast.
Nice. Thanks for the entry.
