@ChiyomiAnzai Thank you. I've always liked the look of the Mirage III. In addition I've tried to make a tailless delta-wing work in game for quite some time now; I'm glad to say I've finally gotten both to work.

We'll have to see. Jets with more complex shapes like the F-22A, J-20, X-02, etc. take more time for me both in planning and building. Plus I'm not sure how stable I can make the Wyvern lel
.
One day :)
@Kungfuevan Funny enough anime was my first exposure to the F1; there's a series called Area 88 that had a TV anime in 2004, and one of the characters later on flies an F1.
.
Or maybe that's fitting given my username I dunno X)
Would custom missiles for the Magic, Matra, etc count towards the sub-assembly penalty? Are weapons/stores allowed at all, or are we doing clean configuration only?
@HarryBen47 I'm still happy with this. Actually I think it's better in some ways than the replicas because it tries to be somewhat unique, and I stuck neat features into it.
@Datboi1234 lol
.
If I do an F-14B or D modification, I'll probably disable the winglets. They don't add a ton of agility to the build (which I think was a similar conclusion the Navy reached).
@ChaMikey I like both jets also. The YF-23A would be great research aircraft, so it's a shame that they've been relegated to museum pieces.
.
As for cost, we already know the Raptor has become a pricey fighter. How many more F-23A could we have gotten for the same price though? Maybe 5, 10, 15 at best?
.
@ChiChiWerx Good point. How much do we actually know about these jets? If that recent story about the Eagle Dynamics employee says anything even old jets still have classified data in the TDP. Not unlikely the Raptor and Black Widow II hid secrets as well that led to the AF choice of adoption.
@Yoyoyooo A Raptor will eventually come...I'm putting it off a LOT but it shall come lol
.
As for a specific livery, I might attempt a rough approximation of the typical low-visibility sploches, but not much more. I ain't exactly great at paintjobs lol
@Kimcotupan15 Thank you :)
.
@SelectAKey I tried to do it justice. The user wanted the AV-8B or -8B+, but I decided to try a British Harrier. Given how the GR.7 was developed it basically is the AV-8B
@BogdanX I've noticed in testing that sometimes the jet will violently twitch. I've had it happen with other builds before too. I think the rudder is a bit too big and that might contribute, but I'm otherwise happy with the performance. Shoutout to @WPN78 for the designersuite mod.
.
And I mean...it is SimplePlanes. ;)

Thank you. I'll be honest I was woefully optimistic about the part count. I thought it'd be 200 or less; BOY was I wrong lel
Aww iz cute :3
.
Actually reminds me a lot of my F-16 build since it appears to share some building techniques. Yours probably has fewer parts than mine though lel
@AerialFighterSnakes F :'(
.
That scene is exactly the sort of thing the F-14A was plagued with; the TF-30s weren't able to handle the kind of maneuvering the Tomcat would be doing. Fly just wrong and the compressor blades would stall and the engine lost all power.
.
THANKFULLY the later F-14A+/F-14B got the new GE F-110 and that problem went away.

I don't know whether SP's physics are true for Earth, but more speed can always be had by going higher. I do agree it's more sluggish than I'd like though.
Right on, man; that's exactly what the Air Force, Marines, and Navy wanted. The branches actually did test an F-5 against a MiG-21 in simulated dogfights and found that the F-5 series were well on par with the Fishbed. So whenever a pilot training at Nellis or Top Gun saw the Freedom Fighter (or the later Tiger II) it was likely trying to mimic MiG-21s. I dunno if pilots were told that.
Interestingly I guess F-14s were used to simulate Su-27's? With wings swept slightly the two have a similar profile.
@WNP78 I get ya. 'S all good; I think what I was expecting was that the images would stick on that view, but only when I was roughly looking straight at it (give or take a few degrees) it would reappear.
So for example I could have a top view, but only looking at the top of the build would reveal the image. The same would repeat for a side, front, etc. That way if I wanted to check the dimensions of the replica from multiple angles, I could. This is still extremely useful though.
@ChiChiWerx I just balanced it nose-heavy. I should've put trim on the tailplanes but I was tired and forgot to do it.
@Zott Indeed. Beautiful shaping ^.^
+1Oooooo...interesting.
@ainanen No problem. Was nice to build a jet that wasn't American or Russian for once x)

@ChiyomiAnzai I posted on accident lel. I'll have the actual one up soon
+1@Ryn176 Welcome to FSX: Steam Edition xD
Again, not a delta. This is a highly swept wing in a tailless configuration, but still kewl
Not really a delta-wing; more of a flying wing, but cool

Mmm, another good looking razorback Mustang :3
I am so happy to see a forgotten aircraft be built with attention to detail like this. The VTOL that never was, alongside its counterpart VAK-191.

Not the AV-8B you requested, but it is a Harrier II. Hope you like it. :)
Maybe an S.E.5? You mention Werner Voss in the D.III build, so why not the plane that brought him down? I dunno
@MintLynx Funny enough the hollow fuselage would not have made the build accurate; this is old fashioned fuselage blocks shaped and nudged into place.

@Carbonfox1 Thank you. I certainly wish I'd done some XML drag reduction on the wings before I posted; did it afterwards and got a decent speed boost.
@0644701018 I'll add it to the list. Any specific version you want?
