awesome changes@AndroidUser015 yeah it is pretty hard to get the scale 100% right now, will be easier when it can be tested in vr. One thing that helps with scaling is that a fuselage with a length of 2 is 1m irl so to scale things properly in-game you take the irl length in meters and double it
it would be really cool it this was able to be picked up and aimed (have it not be attached to cockpit and give grabby handles) also idk if it was in scale since it's like more than twice my height in vr lol
while I don't have the other issues like you I did randomly get a bug where when designer suite mod is enabled I can't see the box around text labels, there wasn't even an update to the game it just randomly started happening
@Lunify most of the really useful ones are packaged with the game, they just need to be enabled. I don't really use any other mods for building other than, Overload, Designer Suite and fine-tuner(for resizing stuff)
looks really nice, if you're worried about the scale being off you can actually use the Fine tuner mod to scale it down. You can then do that by:
- opening the fine tuner mod
- click on Scale Tool
- unselecting "scale selected parts" and making sure "relative scale" is selected
I'd recommend figuring out how much smaller you need to make it first so divide the length you want it to be by it's current length
yeah the problem is there's no way for the ai to know which activation group controls the bay doors, if you set the doors to open when a weapon is selected it would probably work
@DDVC yeah I'm really not sure then, you should test by using normal props and slowly changing them to be like your current ones to see what causes the issue
in 1.11 beta:
-make your fuselage body with hollow fuselage
-keep in mind where you want to later have the cockpit so have fuselage sections that are the correct length and placement for where you want to cut.
- Size and build the fuselage beforehand and as if the cockpit doesn't exist (i.e don't have it dip down where the fuselage starts but instead smoothly transition over
-use fuselage slice to slice away an opening for your cockpit
are aircraft collisions disabled? also are those hemispheres or fuselage cones on the front? If they're hemispheres make sure bounce is turned off and collisions for them are disabled, also that the props are attached to fuselage not hemispheres
I think you posted it twice by accident
I've now updated this download to the fixed version

nvrmind the link is dead
clicky
@exosuit you can change the "reset" button for zoom mod with "00 mod settings" it's probs just on ctrl by default
I haven't tested zoom with ocean mod since ocean mod will crash my game after 1.11

@V seems like kind of an oversight, maybe they could bind it to using three fingers instead of two
3 or 4
@Kaim109 eeuuhhhhhhh....umm..
Sam wins
@WhyBreadSoFattning well yeah ofc, get with the program gluten
man that sucks, sorry to hear
I try to upload unlisted versions of all my builds just in case anything ever happens
oh dang, this looks really nice! is this fictional or based off anything?
@CC1010 of course..SO THE SOCKS MUST HAVE BEEN THE BUTTONS ALL ALONG!
HOW DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS SOONER!!?
@CC1010 wait do the..PANTS HAVE BUTTONS???!N?
@CC1010 YOU COULD BE RIGHT
VOLCANICASH IS PLAYING 4D CHESS OUT HERE GODXGBDAMNIT!!
@WhyBreadSoFattning THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION DILOPH
@CC1010 BUT THEN WHY WOULD THEY MENTION A SHIRT?!
Nice! Having these code generators is always really great, but what actually is ILS? I'm a noob at aviation terms

the front of the cowling looks like a face
epic
oh no..
@CC1010 maybe they do mean a t-shirt and the plane just has more than 0 buttons
bee
the wings look almost iridescent, it's a nice effect
those slides are too good lol
def gonna try this out in vr tmrw
ah, so this is what you're busy testing in vr

lies
if you wanted it to match the curve of the wing you could also try making it with fuselage slice
make an account at gravatar.com and add a profile pic there, you then add it to simpleplanes.com under: View Profile>manage account

I used to have that issue way back when, but I haven't had anything like it in forever now
in "cockpit basic" parts section
you can change the colour of the inside with trim 1
best update
@DDVC yeah I'm really not sure then, you should test by using normal props and slowly changing them to be like your current ones to see what causes the issue
@DDVC not sure what the cause is then, try disabling collisions on the fuselage cones as well maybe?

yes this is perfect for carrier landings link
the images aren't showing up
should add the link to the bug report forum
giant flying sandwich
also if turn on the gradient you can get 3d effect
