@Chancey21 also, I will tag you after I have the mac scrip ready, I want to adjust it so it is easier to install and has less third-party dependencies.
@Chancey21 I don't know about that. It was my only desktop PC, and the hard drive does not fit into my laptop that I use right now. But I hope that the drive is Ok, because as far as I've seen, the failure occurred in the 3.3V line to the CPU, independent of the 12V and 5V lines of the drive. I don't really care about the CPU and the motherboard, but I really hope that the GPU survived, as it was the most expensive part of the computer
@horizoneer I recommend trying out Mint first, it allows you to run it from a live disk, or dual-boot, so all your files, including Windows, are saved, and you can choose which OS to run every time you start your PC
@horizoneer wine tends to work just fine. If not, you can install playonlinux, it is a graphical frontend to wine, but it can automatically get required stuff like dlls from the web. I tested it on Linux Mint on two computers, and it works better with Intel HD graphics, when I ran it on an AMD Radeon RX470 graphics card, I got weird glitches when uploading
@F104Deathtrap by "silent majority of users" I mean users who just play the game casually and do not take part in any discussions. There are thousands of registered users, hundreds of active users, and yet you keep seeing the same people on the forums, with a few newcomers popping up here and there. Most of the userbase does not take part in forum discussions, they just want to play the game, and the option of a "tournament" is appealing to them.
@Chancey21 it already exists, but only if you are using a joystick. Then the brake will not manipulate throttle as throttle is bound to the physical throttle lever on the joystick
Yes, windows updates are known for messing things up. That's why I use Linux!
Anyways, the first thing I would do if I was using Windows and it slowed down would be running a deep virus scan in an antivirus of your choice (I prefer AVG) and after that giving the PC another scan using Malwarebytes.
It is very easy to get a virus on a Windows machine, literally just clicking a wrong hyperlink and it's over.
As LiamW said, take a look in the task manager.
You do that using Ctrl+Alt+Del, selecting Task Manager. Then look at the Processes tab and sort it by CPU and memory usage, maybe you'll find something suspicious.
Also look at the Performance tab, to check if the slowdown is caused by not enough memory or high CPU usage.
They increase stability during turns slightly, and that is just because the game does not simulate lift from anything else than wings. IRL, the entire body of the plane acts in a way as a vertical stabilizer

@Patton2 and how do you display them? If it is works from a batch file, then it could work from python as well

@randomusername it is expensive tea
Nothing can "embed" into an LED screen. Send us a screenshot.

it seems that during the drop the FPS goes down, thank me later
@CSP27 acktually it's flightgear, because I couldn't get FSX running on linux :D
congrats on making the first post I actually favorited
@Minecraftpoweer I tried that once, resulted in basically all my rotators falling apart and the plane handling as if it was flying through deep space
@K9officerft yes, I know about that, it has a telescope in the side, pretty neat
@WNP78 I had to google "words starting with X" as I was clueless.
Also, fixed the "sentence" issue I am so sorry to have disappointed you
hmmm doesn't seem to be furniture-related
Or, you know, just use the rotate tool and set it to "connected parts"

step four: delet windows
step five: install linux
step six: realize you can't have unity anymore
step seven: slightly less profit

I do not know why, but for a minute straight I thought that the title is
Click if you're retarded
and I just accepted it and clicked it
@ACEPILOT109 like tea?
@Static as I said, I do not have access to my main PC with Windows
@ACEPILOT109 I suppose not... It's just that matty is a very sensitive being and needs to eat a lot of tea
@CommanderSword yes, I plan on replacing all the "docking" fuselages with proper ports , as well as adding functional solar panels
@asteroidbook345 but will it be VTOL? :D As I said, I am interested in making that engine, I already have some ideas
there's a "mirror aircraft" button under the "share" button, it is pretty handy :D
@ACEPILOT109 that escalated quickly
@AdlerSteiner understandable
