Yeah I spent a good day or two just trying to see what worked, realising that something was really off and the redoing the entire area again :/
@LegnaK
Yeah, after a while I realised that the speeds at the various altitudes were pretty good anyways. Though the climb speed is painfully slow, it kept the top speed of the plane down and extended the runway takeoff length. As for the lagginess, yeah I admit the type on the doors was perhaps overkill, and I was originally going to omit them, but then some people wanted to see them and I hadn’t gone over the 1500 part limit for this craft, so it was kind of a compromise but one that I was willing to make.
@BogdanX
I have tried Traindudes Railway mod too, it’s pretty decent but the track isn’t very smooth so the trains top speed is only like 30mph. I personally haven’t used the high speed rail cause it doesn’t work for this train :/, but you certainly could if you feel like there are people out there who would benefit from it.
@destroyerP
What you have to understand is that of course the Devs are more focused on SR2, that’s how they make a living. Yet, they do seek to give SP another update after the Christmas break. And if you are looking for a more polished version of SP, SR2 does so quite nicely actually. Sure there’s a lot that’s wrong with SP, but sometimes just taking a short break between builds or spending more time on them will reduce levels of frustration.
That’s a really nice plane you’ve built, very smooth wing design. Will definitely make for some tough competition though, however that’s not a bad thing. Great work!
Huh, I guess you could try F104’s solution below, kinda crude but it’ll fix the problem. You could always try to shift k the wing pieces to fix up any dodgy connection points
@QingyuZhou
Has the cockpit been scaled down? I noticed that on my recent build, it caused drag issues which lead to auto Yaw/roll, maybe try scaling it back to 1,1,1 to see if it fixes the problem?
Ah thank you! I see what you mean about drag, I’ll keep that in mind for the future. I’ll ask you about drag points and stuff for future projects if I need to as well.
@BogdanX
The ship uses an XML edited propeller as the main means of propulsion. There’s a single jet engine set on brake to reverse the ship. The engines have been edited so that they don’t deactivate when the AG is off, that allows you to keep sailing while controlling the heli
@CRJ900Pilot
I agree, however, my only problem with mouse aimed controls is that it doesn’t work how you’d expect it to work, instead it works like a large game pad on the screen, so it’s not always gonna go we’re you point it to, which can mess you up. Plus, in the rare case an iOS/android users wants to use this, they are able to. Mouse aimed controls would basically prevent this group from using the ship. @CRJ900Pilot
Oh, that’s easy. Just place the wheel on a fuselage block, then connect the fuselage block to your landing gear strut with a spring, and then nudge everything in so that the spring is hidden. @Mainblocks
Nah, they expand to let the an increased amount of exhaust through, you can read more about it on wiki.
@ACEPILOT109
Yep, looks to be working again for me. Cheers!
@AndrewGarrison
No problem
@Winstonlharambe
Always enjoy these types of vids!

Lol, that image is from eBay, you could totally get it if you wanted to

No spaces in between
@TheAmericanPilot
Yeah I’d be able to test it if you want
Cannot you press enter/return?

Just leave a line and then type

@SuperSix
Let me know what you think, I’d like some feedback on this build
@Chancey21
Thanks, glad you liked it
@Trainzo
Thanks man, hope you enjoyed it!
@Chancey21
Does the plane happen to auto roll to the left when in flight?
I might consider it for the future, but I’ve got other things going on
@8bitgamer33
Do know about shift-k?
But yes I agree, it’s a pretty annoying problem

Probably not, I have other stuff I want to work on
@asteroidbook345
Yes he did, he had his reasons, not that they were reasonable but whatever

Be like me? Hmm, maybe you mean to just build like me?
@temporaryaccount
Indeed, hopefully a few more quality designs come through to make for a great competition!

Amazing stuff, I really enjoy when you make these types of vids!
Cheers man!
@EternalDarkness
I’ll see if I have the time
@horatio
Yeah, but that category doesn’t exist for the challenge, so interwar is the next best ;)
@ThePilotDude
I might consider making a mobile friendly version if i have the time
@Kungfuevan
Cheers!
