Yeah, I know your nozzles don’t effect the thrust in SP, but you should consider reversing the action because it’s more realistic that way.

The engines after burner is an add on to the main engine, the main jet is controlled by thrust and so is the little things that close.

The way I made the after burner, it’s powered by trim, you can make it open but it won’t give you the trust of an afterburner. Just the looks.

Nah, they expand to let the an increased amount of exhaust through, you can read more about it on wiki.
