I flew it round for a bit, quite a nice build. I see where you’ve encoporated the slow roll when your pitching to simulate that characteristic, but it’s not exactly realistic in the sense that the AoA is actually quite small cause the plane just ends up following the nose. But I guess you gotta sacrifice one thing for another sometimes. @Tessemi
It would be great if we could edit titles and the thumbnail of the SP vids, or at least have them update live to the YouTube thumbnail. Not sure how viable but it’s a thought.
@AndrewGarrison @weebabyseamus
Yeah, I’ve been working on the flight performance for a while. It’s hard cause planes in SP tend to follow the nose of the plane, rather than actually have a high AoA. When the plane is near stall it does become incredibly hard to roll and yaw well. @Tessemi
I had a camera that was set to follow cockpit on the ground, it required a lot of set up and planning, but provides the best result (personally better than the free cam mod). No testers for now, maybe later though @CRJ900Pilot
Glad you liked it. It was hard filming some of those shots, there are many I didn’t get right and were near impossible to do. Will work on honing my skills though. @temporaryaccount
True, I did struggle to find decent shots I liked (have nearly 10mins of unused footage) towards the end, but it would’ve meant editing the length of the music or finding a shorter piece. @Chancey21
As you gain more points, it becomes harder to get a feature. A sliver player is more likely to get a feature than a gold player granted they upload the same build. For your bomber to feature, the wings should be redone so they form a basic airfoil shape, (see some of my builds or EternalDarkness’ tutorial) with custom Airbrakes and control surfaces, which is actually quite easy. The proportions/blueprint accuracy could be improved and the engines and cockpit shaping could be made smoother. A custom cockpit (done well might I add) would be that final wow factor that would certainly get you a feature in conjunction with the above.
Been pretty busy lately, still gotta finish some details within the cockpit. Also gotta refine the flight model, I really want it to be perfect too. Should be out soon hopefully. @temporaryaccount
I don’t think the entire 737 series is going to collapse, eventually when the problem is fixed airlines will overtime regain their trust in the plane. It will (and has already) impact share prices a lot and business forecasts though and it will push airlines towards other manufacturers.
Nice work guys. I’ve just been noticing that when I go to update from 1.7-1.8.2 to 1.8.3, it doesn’t seem to recognise the existing user files and just comes up with the default stuff. This is on a Mac by the way, I’ve tried both reinstalling, deleting the file etc, but it doesn’t seem to recognise it.
I haven’t noticed any dramatic lagging on my Mac, but certainly it was better in 1.8.0.0 than it is now in 1.8.1.0. Still an overall improvement from 1.7
Best way is keep it simple. Attach wing pieces were you want them with the control surfaces and then just scale them down and nudge them in. Keep the wing area close to the actual plane (measure it without the vertical stabs tho), it’ll keep the handling realistic. @Johndfg

+1Haha, red’s a bit over the top
@Lahoski107
Yeah, takes a bit of planning and a lot of time to get what you want, we’ll worth though

Thanks guys, glad that you enjoyed watching it
@SpiritusRaptor @weebabyseamus
I made the plane, it’s not public yet
+1@Robbo36mailman @0n33
Thanks, I really enjoyed some of your vids too, especially the Mirage III. @MisterT
Glad you liked it!
@Freerider2142
No, vids of people you follow just pop up in notifications
@D0M1N420R
I’ll take the advice on in some of my later vids, it’ll mean less work for me
+2anyways.
@Chancey21

Maybe another week or another couple
months, depends how i feel. Around 1500 parts. @ProcessedPlAnEs
Takes a lot of time to do these vids, i’d need to build the plane too.
@BlitzBombers
Thanks, glad you liked it!
@BlitzBombers
It’s a piston with a very short extend length and a very fast speed set to cycle on pitch/fire weapons ect.

+2As an Aussie, I respect this
Simply could not live without this mod anymore, brilliant stuff!
+2Just because they’re good creators doesn’t mean they should become moderators, no offence intended of course.

This looks an awful lot like this plane don’t ya think...
@TMach5 @spefyjerbf
Glad you like it, a bit busier nowadays, might come back and give and give a mobile version.
+1@WarHawk95
3
The pictures aren’t showing up
+2There are plenty of better ones, what about QingyZhou’s planes?
@ayou2005
I’d pick the one James sent, the others are a bit conventional. Been working on one myself, look forward to comparing the two crafts!
Thanks, glad you liked it
@Wabbit
I dunno, I dumped this project a while ago now
@Cvanimation
Thanks, it’s probably one of my best builds. Glad you liked it
@TMach5

+1I don’t think so, it worked fine in the previous 1.8 betas
@Reen1

Thank you, I’ve been working to change my build style a bit, I’m glad you like it. My next project should be even better!
@temporaryaccount

I second that, much easy to hold it down than to adjust the increment or click 50x
+2@Darjeelings183
Amazing stuff, was more than happy to help out! Hope to take some nice photos with this in a dogfight with some other planes.
+1Haha, no worries
+1@Strikefighter04
Uh, not sure what you mean?
@Strikefighter04
I was planning on making one ages ago, but I guess your teaser inspired me to finally get around to it
+1@Chancey21
Thanks guys
+1@CRJ900Pilot @Strikefighter04 @Phoza
That’s not true, they’re literally working on 1.8 now
Haha, I think it already has enough attention to it. Glad you like it though

lol, raspy isn’t a disease, it’s just a word used to describe what someone’s voice sounds like, usually when their ill
+3I can offer some help if want, or just general advice if you’d like?@Johndfg
Thanks, I’m really looking forward to you P-38
+1@Johndfg
Nice stuff, good job on the cockpit!
