I never really expected it to be released in 2025 anyways, I am super excited for the demo and I look forward to seeing how the physics and vehicle handling is improved in SP2!
I like the live mirroring in KSP, but I also like building one side and duplicating it. It would be cool to have a way to toggle between the two. It is absolutely necessary to have a way to exempt parts from mirroring for working on things like cockpits.
Are you using lynx? I think I used it once to access this website and I couldn’t figure out how to get past the start page because I had no idea what I was doing.
Aside from the server issues, I will never invest in a game fully based in the cloud as I will not be able to own and/or access my game at any time I want, in any place. It would be like if you rented a car and the rental agency had a remote control that could turn it off and on when I want to drive it.
No release date yet, and it probably won’t be free, although they might do something like what happened with Juno where there are paid and free versions.
@Randomplayer I don’t know much about the PC market, I have a laptop. As far as PCs are concerned, the cost depends on a variety of factors such as new or used, buying or building, and you also have to buy a keyboard, mouse and monitor separately.
My one concern with this is the variables icon. Funny trees always felt slapped on in the first game, being only accessible through the XML editor. I hope at least for the sequel they add a full-on code editor for it.
@126 This is why I think maintenance updates should only come on an as needed basis, rather than every year like Jundroo plans to. They break mods and have issues that take lots of time to resolve.
All I want, especially with multiplayer, is to be able to build realistically performing and fun crafts without any sort of XML or physics exploits (even if they don’t look the best), as you can in Juno.
I’m no expert on this, so I’m probably wrong, but what exactly is a pulse detonation ion engine? I know what an ion engine is and I looked up pulse detonation engines, but what do they have in common? Is this a concept that combines the two?
It will likely be your stream username, but don’t quote me on that.
@Graingy Stone.
@HuskyDynamics01 Yup, truly a coincidence of all time.

Cool.
I will sell my kidney for this.

+6Did someone say…
+3Tournaments?
I can help do upvoting but I don’t think I would be able to build a plane of that caliber.
+1Are you using lynx? I think I used it once to access this website and I couldn’t figure out how to get past the start page because I had no idea what I was doing.
+1@Graingy Moonlight game streaming on the 3DS. This could not run on the original DS.
@NominalSituation Thanks :D
+1I loved the dragonflies back in the day, it’s great to see a new one.
@SPairforce Indeed.
@SPairforce I uploaded this after weeks of not checking the site, now I am only responding to this comment five days later…
It truly has been a while.
Nice to see the website getting upgrades in anticipation of SimplePlanes 2.
+3@Denzrura No. Trademark infringement is fun.
I hate to be that guy, but after years of speculation about what “SimplePlanes 2” will be, I would like to actually have SimplePlanes 2.
This reply was made on a 3DS.
+1Suggestion 1 would change the website forever for the better.
$19.99 USD on Steam and $7.99 on mobile.
+1@Rb2h Then SimplePlanes would be asleep, not dead.
+1It’s 10 years old, far too young to die.
+5@KisherSmord Automod is designed to prevent against spam forum posts such as Verifpro and other scams.
+3One problem with the last suggestion is that people could spam report someone and the automod could ban them, even without cause.

@V
A little late to this forum, but if this is possible, how would I go about accomplishing it?
+1@Graingy Me?
If comrade looks suspicious, report them, da? There are western bots hiding everywhere, we cannot be too careful!
+1The original sleeper is one of my favorite aircraft in this game, excited to see an updated version.
+1@overlord5453 It will definitely be paid on PC, but Juno has paid and free mobile versions.

Both.
@RepublicofWrightIsles I have heard there is a way to get old mods without scripts to run on android, is this the case?
@F16xl Mobile has Snowstone. It lacks Maywar.
My one concern with this is the variables icon. Funny trees always felt slapped on in the first game, being only accessible through the XML editor. I hope at least for the sequel they add a full-on code editor for it.
+4I went in this ready to explain again why mods on mobile isn’t possible, but this seems like a plausible scenario.
+10I was (maybe still am) the face of the “bronze build quality with platinum points” user category.
+2@126 This is why I think maintenance updates should only come on an as needed basis, rather than every year like Jundroo plans to. They break mods and have issues that take lots of time to resolve.
+2Is there a new beta and how do I access it?
+1T
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
+2Cube 727.
+3Rest in peace.

Welcome back!
+1There are small islands on the PC version of SimplePlanes, but they don’t do anything other than exist.
+1@Salah001XTripleVage One million players of server space plus $0.00 income means a net loss.
