The SWL-120 is a fictional long-range widebody airliner with inspiration from the 787, 777, 767, 737, and A320. It has a passenger capacity of 370 (324 economy passengers, 42 business class passengers, and 4 ultimate class passengers). This aircraft has been my primary (if not only) project for the last four years, and I'm really excited for its completion (I really don't have much left to do as of 21/12/2025, just the documentation for the cockpit and the modded EICAS display).

Controls

While the full version (not available yet) allows you to control everything with dedicated controls or switches, I've done my best to group stuff so you have some level of control with the eight activation groups. Please note the engines will autostart ten seconds after the level is loaded. They cannot be shut off either, but the parking brake will keep you stationary.

First Person Walker

To fully explore the entire aircraft, I have added what I call a "walker" but what is pretty much a camera on a three axis control base. You have complete freedom in all three axes to fly around the entire plane (and even far beyond the plane too). When you are in the "First Person" camera view, you can use Pitch, Roll, and Yaw to move the camera around. FireGuns will increase your movement speed, and AG 6 (first person override) will switch the inputs back to controlling the plane rather than the camera. Pitch will move you forward or backwards, Roll is left and right, and Yaw is up and down. Pitch and Roll are also relative to where the camera is looking, so Pitch is always forward/backwards and Roll is always left/right.

Activation Groups

AG 1 - Hydraulics, external lights (except landing lights), and cargo bay lights
AG 2 - Cabin lights, and no smoking signs
AG 3 - Fasten seatbelt signs
AG 4 - Windshield wipers (the full version has three settings, but here they are also set to "low")
AG 5 - Fuel dumping (this plane has infinite fuel; the dumping is the particle trail from the fuel nozzles)
AG 6 - Parking brake + first person override
AG 7 - Evacuation strips and ram air turbine door
AG 8 - Landing lights and emergency exit signs

Flight Controls

Pitch - Pitch
Roll - Roll
Yaw - Yaw
Throttle - Throttle
FireGuns - Reverse thrust (throttle must be 0)
LaunchCountermeasures - Spoilers
VTOL down - flaps (the flaps have 4 settings)
Gear - Gear (doesn't retract on ground)

Other Controls

As you use the first person walker to explore the plane, you can click on pretty much any door to open it, and also every overhead bin. While AG 2 controls the main cabin lights, a switch in other spaces (specifically, the cockpit, pilot rest, avionics bay, and crew rest) will turn on their lights. The cargo bays can also be opened with a semi-realistic control panel located near each door. Instructions are written below the access panel.

Credits

The credits on this post don't include contributions to the cockpit, just the rest of the plane.
