@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Thanks, unfortunately, I don't do auto tag lists simply for the fact that I'd always forget about them lol, sorry about that but follow me or post T on my teaser posts if you wish to be notified about my future builds
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 The Titanic itself is finished but at the moment I have no plans for finishing the sinking version (if that's what you are asking about)
@YarisSedan The FT code is from L1nus (I included this information in the description of both cars btw) so you should ask him for permission. The Pontiac Firebird is also made by L1nus but it's an unreleased build he gave me to make screenshtos with.
@kaidenmcateer I just tested it on my computer and I didn't experience any such glitch (I don't have VR so I can't test it in VR but I asked someone to test it back when before it was uploaded and they didn't have any problem with it either) so sorry, I can't help
@Lameguy Unfortunately, no. It has over 4000 parts. I had plans to make a mobile friendly version but I lost motivitation to make it so it was cancelled
@PlaneFlightX Awesome! hey, do you happen to have any other maps from mikoyanster archived? I'm specifically looking for tank test map 1 or 2 if you have those?
@Lwillswith2sentryguns Thanks! And sorry, I don't do auto-tags simply because I have the memory of a gold fish and I always forget about them, so the best I can suggest is follow me so you'll see my posts in your jetstream or comment T on my teaser posts whenever I post one about a car or plane
@Lwillswith2sentryguns For now I turned my attention back to one of my ship projects. You can follow the progress of projects on my Updates page where you can also find my planned projects (I do have a few more cars on my plans but my next release will most likely be a ship)
@VeryPlain Yea I just searched it up and found two companies by this name (a now defunct British car company and currently existing US IT company) but meh, I just needed a name to use for the car and I was inpsired by GMC for the name, I did not give any deeper thought to it. I did made it clear in the description that this is a fictional car, so hopefully no one will confuse it with the real company.
woah, what's going on here?
@126 Both builds are police cars (therefore the black-white police paint scheme) and both of us happened to decide to go with "Jundroo City" (due to the name of that city mod, which in turn is named after the game's dev) as the ficitonal police department's location, I don't see what's special about it
@TTL Oh well, my bad for misunderstanding then, the wording just made it sound a bit like as if you are trying to make me look like a hypocrite (given that my most recent build is exactly 2k parts I thought you were referring to that). I apologize for the misunderstanding
@TTL And I never said that. My 2k+ part builds are definitely not low part, I never even claimed that, but the way they are built is still efficient because I used methods that create the same amount of detail but with fewer parts than it would otherwise take. If they were inefficient, they would be twice the part count
I don't want to be rude but there is no "shadow ban", the planes you uploaded simply didn't catch the eye of users: the last two planes you uploaded had thumbnails which show them from the front, barely showing anything from the plane itself, which makes it hard for users to decide if it's worth checking out or not hence why they didnt click on your posts. Practice taking better screenshots (for example, if you take a screenshot of your plane in flight mode, and then load up that screenshot as a blueprint in the designer, then you can use that when uploading to make a more interesting thumbnail. But simply screenshotting the plane from a better angle in the designer can help a lot too). Your builds are also very beginner-level. There is nothing wrong with that, everyone starts from somewhere, but understand that there are dozens of similar planes uploaded everyday, so your posts will just get lost among them. Try to practice to build more unique, more interesting and more detailed planes and they will attract more people.
@Bebondngao Upload it as unlisted then: when you are uploading an aircraft, there is a button that says "Public", tap on that and it will change to "Unlisted", that way it will only appear for you in your profile.
Also, if you are on the page of an aircraft that you like, click on the little triangle button on the side and there you will find a button named "Add to favorites", if you click on that, it will add it to the list of your favorite planes. You can access this list from your main profile page where there is a button named "Favorites"
@Jsoeidm2 Hello. After much thinking about it, I think the answer is sadly no. It has been in devlopment hell for like, forever (I did start working on it back then but didn't get too far with it) and it's unlikely that I'll pick it up again. I'm sorry to disappoint, it seems that mobile friendly builds are just not my thing...
@Samfpanzer It's not really about luck, it's about effort: what's the point of entering a challenge if you are just doing it out of boredom? All the other non-disqualified entries showed a great amount of effort put into them by their builders, even tho some of them used borrowed parts as well. I recommend if you join a challenge in the future, don't do it out of boredom, do it while trying to build the best possible entry you can, and the different attitude will definitely show on your creation;)
@spectre118 I downloaded it and it works fine for me, what exactly do you mean by "not accessible"? you can't find the buttons? or you found them but they dont work?
On first look the ship neatly captures the style and vibe of a predread. The weapons and ship controls are easy to understand and use, and the performance is great as well
- Design/Accuracy (13/15):
The design of the vessel is pretty authentic, it fits the look of the prdreads well. One problem I noticed however is the use of 350mm main cannons, for which I could find no example in history, as most predreads only had max 305mm cannons
However, the ship having 4 different calibers perfectly captures the madness of predread designs, which I really appreciate. The underwater torpedo tube is also worth mentioning, once again, being a common feature on real life predreads.
Another great detail was the tumblehome hull and I also liked the inclusion of the bow crest, both are great.
The extensive use of green a bit uncommon, but I'm willing to accept it as the builder's style and it's not too out of place.
- Details (11/15):
The ship has mostly minimalistic details but features all the necessary components to make it authentic. The inclusion of a bridge interior was a nice touch.
The biggest focus was definitely on the weaponry. The 203mm cannons amidships definitely take the cake, they've got great detail work on them and even a recoil mechanism.
Other details such as random pipes, capstans etc, the rangefinders and searchlights that rotate with the cannons were all nice too.
The ship also features rigging and some railings.
- Features (15/20):
There are 4 calibers of usable guns, all being synced and deactivating when the user aims outside of their arc. The camera aim used for the weapons is great and very easy to use.
There is also a torpedo that can be fired which is also nice. The bridge interior is also appreciated even if the equipment cant be used.
It's also a nice little feature that the navigation and searchlights can all be activated and deactivated independently.
The ship uses jet engines for propulsion and a gyro for steering with only havingt actual propellers and a rudder for decoration, a fairly standard solution, tho could have been better with functioning propellers and rudder.
- Build Quality (8/10):
The builder used a number of creative part saving solutions, including the use of magnets for capstans, pistons for pipes, engines for skylight and these are just a few examples, all very creative. The use of labels for the windows is also appreciated.
The railings being covered in canvas is a nice part saving solution. The builder also excellently uses fuselage slicing in many places to save on parts. One thing I think the builder could have considered is to use fuselage slicing to make mirrored rigging with a single part.
Another problem I noticed is the not very good looking bow bulge, it's a bit out of place and the builder could have made it blend in better with the rest of the hull.
- Performance (14/20):
The ship performs well on the vanilla ocean, the speed and turning rate are close to realistic and mostly fun to use (minus the fact the the ship takes some time to speed up or slow down). It's slightly unrealistic as the gyro can turn the ship when stopped.
The cannons' traverse speed also nails a nice middle ground between realistic and fun to use, it could have been only slightly slower but overall pretty good and they are easy to use
Unfortunately the ship doesnt handle well on the Ocean mod
- Description and Information (15/15):
The description is excellent, a great combination of screenshots and text, with a nice fictional design history, specifications and also a number of nice screenshots, while being not too long or too short.
Additional Points (-0, +1):
+1 fro being below 1000 parts despite the amount of details packed into it
@YarisSedan trains, not likely, but cars, yes, I already put some on my list of plans

@YarisSedan I'm not really interested in making that and I have a ton of other projects I want to work on anyways, sorry

@kaidenmcateer what is the problem with it? (and why are you making this comment here instead of making it on the Olympic's post?)
@spectre118 Interesting, I have never heard about that one before, thanks for the info!
@rondavison You need either the underwater camera mod or the ocean mod to be able to see underwater and use this build.
@Boeing727200F Okay, I'll add her to my list, sounds like an interesting project:)
@Boeing727200F ah yes, that was the HMS Victoria (1887), an ironclad battleship. Would you like to see her as a wreck exploration build?

@Lemoncat Feel free to do so, just make sure to give credit:)

it's a B-17E, it crashed in 1943 after being hit during a mission.
I found an article on it: https://pacificwrecks.com/aircraft/b-17/41-9234.html
nice find

@QuitesUK Sorry, I don't take any requests at the moment, my backlog is already way too long
I'm usually not into airliners... but dang, this livery made my jaw drop, take my updoot and spotlight o7

@KPLBall That was already included as part of the dreadnought challenge
@KPLBall Sorry, I'm not that much interested in light cruisers
@spectre118 I tested it on my own mobile and it's working fine for me, so I have no idea what could cause the problem on yours, sorry:(

@dekanii well, the trophies are actually all the same shape, roughly based on the Mikasa
