@Stormfur Maybe in the future. For the next 3 months I'm busy with my final exams so I have no time to build but after that I have a few unfinished projects which I wanna finish during summer, after those, there may be a Panzer IV challenge, but for now, I won't be uploading stuff
Well, this update is awesome, I love it! but there's one "problem" I have. In the earlier version, if you set the chordScale of the propeller engine high enough (with xml editing or with the Overload mod) you could achive that the propeller would still work even if it gets a few feet underwater (depending on how high you set chordScale it can work deeper, tho the look of the propellers start to get very weird)
Pretty much all my ships and submarines use this. Now none of them work because no matter how high I set chord scale, the propeller doesn't work.
Can you fix that? (I'm not sending this as a bug repoert because it's not really a bug but it'd be great if you could fix it :D)
Edit:
I just tested my UH-1 Huey and the propeller acts very weird: The propeller itself is scaled 0.4. In 1.7 the propeller's diameter ignored this scaling and followed the diameter lenght which I set it in xml editing. Now it follows the 0.4 scaling and I have to set the diameter to much bigger to achive the same in-game lenght. Also (probably due to the 0.4 scaling) The propeller's cone is levitating above the base
I think this might be the reason why the propellers of my ships and submarines act very weird (their diameter becomes much longer in the game than in the designer)
To sum it up: For some reason, xml edited propellers look much different in-game than in the designer.
Edit 2:
Damn, this is just the beta of 1.8 but I already miss the old Beast 😅. Is there a way to add her to sail somewhere else? Like idk sail somewhere around Maywar or Snowstone? I love the new Beast becaise it looks absolutely fantastic and those new features are awesome but it'd be great if the old Beast would be presented in the game too. 😃
Holy Morgan Freeman. This is awesome! All those new features. Gosh... aaaaand looks like I gotta remake the USS Beast again * sigh *, but hey it looks fantastic and has new features! Amazing job guys! 😀
@TheAmericanPilot I was about to write a comment to you about how making a Bergetiger has no point because you can't really use it... but then I got a good idea :D
I'm currently busy with preparing to my final exams but I'll make it if I'll have some free time
Holy stalin, this is awesome! How long have you been playing the game before uploading this?? You are reeeeally skilled as I see.
This must get featured! @Tully2001 @EternalDarkness
Congrats dude, amazing build!
Also congrats for 420 points. Mlg blaze it!
@user49989 yknow you can edit the description here on the website too, you don't have to write the whole thing during the upload. I usually write the description into a txt file before uploading and then after the upload is done I go to the website, click edit on the post and copy paste the pre-written description into it. Also pretty good job
@aerodummy It is... eh... Yknow what? I should be less strict with the rules cuz it eliminates creativity.
Build it if ya want. I might give it an honorable mention 🙂
@aerodummy You mean the Tiger turret on a fixed platform for training purposes? No that doesn't, as I stated in the challenge description, you can't make such a huge change as removing the entire hull
@TheAmericanPilot Tiger I. Wikipedia - Designations: You can find Tiger H1 in the list of production variants. The devs of War Thunder didn't just make it up, H1 was an actual variant, tho I have to admit this one is based on the war thunder Tiger H1 but still, it was real.
wow, awesome idea. Really creative! I love it! make sure to tag me again when you finish the description in case you are writing some sort of story for the plus points ;)
@LegnaK btw about your brake at high speed problem. With xml editing (or with WPN78's Overload mod) you can adjust brake strenght. You gott click on each wheel of the tracks, look for a line called "barkeTorque" and set it to something around 0.5 (at least that's what I usually set, but you can set it to lower or higher, depending on how you want it), it will make braking much smoother an solve sour problem :)
@JetFly you don't have to change anything dude. I just used this color scheme because
1. Light-gray and green are colors that militaries usually use and I wanted to show that this plane is made mainly for military use.
2. Green is my favorite color.
But this is the only time (plus the other C-500C3) I used this color scheme so it's just a coincidence, you can still build up your franchise on this color combination, don't mind my build 🙂
Wow this is awesome. I really love this Dieswen and Second Global War and this whole alternative history you made. Really creative! Congrats man!
If you allow me a recommendation: I'd connect the tracks to one engine which either controlled by VTOL or by Trim and then put a gyroscope with maximum yaw power into the middle of the tank. It's a much better and easier way to control the tank than using the VTOL and the Trim sliders to control the tracks separetly. But this is just a recommendation.
Awesome build dude! :D
@AnoniMosu I specified it by saying that the Tiger overall must remain the same, which means it must remain a Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I and nothing else. Another thing I stated is authenticity; if someone wants to build such thing as an Ersatz Tiger, all it takes is one google search to realise that there wasn't such thing as an Ersatz Tiger, making the whole idea inauthentic.
@AnoniMosu well eh, quite interesting approach on the challenge.
According to the rules, it should be disqualified because it's not authentic (The germans only built Ersatz versions for the Panther and the Stug III, and those were copying american tanks not soviets) and because the gunsight is unusable BUT I won't disqualify it because I like how creative the idea is. (It might get an Honorable Mention, but it broke the rules too much to get a placing)
Very nice build, congrats!
@AdlerSteiner I'm planning to make a whole series of WWII tanks, and the Tiger I. and its variants was the first step in this, but I'm already working on the next one
@asteroidbook345 @AnoniMosu as I stated in the description, changing the basic features (which includes the armament of the tank) is forbidden, sorry. The idea is that the tank itself remains a Tiger I. It doesn't change into a flaktiger or anything else, you just add stuff to make it a unique looking Tiger I.
What does U.R.S.S. stands for?

@Stormfur It's because of the size. Huge builds lag and cause crashes even if they have low part count.
@user49989
@aerodummy
@RookieTheCookie
@Scottydoestuff
@Oski it adds lens flare, just look at the sun in-game and you'll see

+2@Othawne yea that's why I asked if that mod will be released and if yes, then when?
@Othawne yea but how did you make it to be a thumbnail pic?
@WarHawk95 And when will it be released? :)
How did you add text to the thumbnail screenshots? And how did you put that montage pic for the second pic?
Awesome build btw

@ProcessedPlAnEs any Olympic-class ship (RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic, HMHS Britannic)
Omg this is awesome! Is that Bumblebee's head on the backseat? I'm only guessing from the screenshot cuz I'm away from computer right now.
+2@DuckMint yep, they are super awesome, now I just wish someone made a famous openworld crime game's map 😉
Honorable Mention: @user49989
Congratulations to you!
@EternalDarkness damn, this is so complicated XD
1st Place: @aerodummy
2nd Place: @RookieTheCookie
3rd Place: @Scottydoestuff
Congratulations to all of you!
@EternalDarkness I tagged them in the post or they only get a notification if I tag them in the coments? oh well..
@AdlerSteiner I meant like removing the headlights, or sideskirts etc. small parts, not the whole tank.
Awesome! I love it! 😀
@asteroidbook345 no problem
@TakicraftCorporation remélem sikerül, ha nem, semmi gond, értékelem hogy megpróbáltad 🙂
@TakicraftCorporation
@DestinyAviation
@asteroidbook345
Just tagging you guys cuz you were the ones who commented that you'd participate but haven't sent a build yet 🙂
I hope you still want to participate 😀
I opened the game but in the menu I couldn't click on the play button. I tried everything but it didn't respond to anything

+1@Scottydoestuff ooh I love Kelly's heroes. Nice reference 😃
Very cool, I like it! 😃
