@Seemeing
Thank you very much! I am glad to hear such words from you.
I downloaded and flew the "Raiden" you created. It is fantastic. Beautiful appearance, fun to fly and responsive, and the cockpit is much more detailed than my Raiden.
@100
I do not know the details, but I have heard that the landing gear is stored on one side at a time due to the hydraulic system. A large hydraulic system cannot be installed in a fighter plane, which is required to be small and light, so the landing gear is stored a little at a time on each side.
However, the J2M's landing gear was electrically driven (hence the many failures in the early days). So it may not be for the above reason. To be honest, I don't know.
However, news footage from that time shows that the landing gear was stowed at different times on the left and right sides of the aircraft.
@KingOfTypos
The "double stack fuselage method"!? Wow, thanks for giving my creation technique a cool name.
Indeed, when I create a fuselage, I combine the upper and lower halves of the fuselage. This allows me more flexibility in shaping the fuselage cross section. In some cases, like the nose section of the Ju-87, I combine the top, middle, and bottom three fuselage parts ("triple stack fuselage method"?).
Whatever it is, I'm glad my technique is useful to you. I look forward to seeing the F6F you build :)
@KingOfTypos
Thanks for introducing me to your methods. I will make use of it when I can understand it.
OK, whatever plane it is (even if it's not a Bf109) I eagerly await your next work :)
@KingOfTypos
Thank you for your comment.
I'm surprised you noticed it! Yes, I am using EternalDarkness' fuselage slicing wing method, just like you. ...well, to be precise, I use something similar to that. I am ashamed to say that I am not very good at math, so I am not using EternalDarkness' fuselage slicing wing method perfectly.
The rolls may indeed be excessive. This is a reminder for my next work.
Bf109 is good! I would love to see a Bf109 made by an excellent modeler like you :)

Thanks for your comment.
I would not be offended if you put a jet engine, missiles, helicopter rotors, or anything else on my work.
However, if you post a "Jetted F4U" under the pretense that you made it yourself from scratch, I will be offended.I think it is against the SP rules.
If you want to enjoy it privately, you are free to modify it as you like :)
@Navalmen
Thanks for your comments.
It is true that this aircraft originally had a habit of rolling left on its own. So I corrected it with wing attachment angles, etc., but I guess I didn't completely fix it. My apologies.
@BogdanX
Thanks for your comments.
As always, thank you for your perceptive points.
I was aware of the problem of the directional instability during takeoff and landing. However, I could not find the cause and could not fix it. Thanks for pointing out the cause.

I wanted to reproduce the siren as well. I knew this mod existed. But I am a mobile user and could not use the mod.
I hope they will release parts related to sound. It would expand the possibilities of the work.
@BogdanX
Thanks for the comment.
You are right, it could have been better with suspension on the landing gears. But I wanted to minimize the number of parts used. I did not feel that it would interfere with the landing, and it would not affect the appearance significantly, so I decided to omit the suspension.
@Jaspy190
You ask a strange question....totally unrelated to this piece....
But I will answer it. However, I am neither a language expert nor a flower expert. I will answer only as a personal opinion.
As far as I know, there are no abbreviations in the Japanese translation of azalea flowers. Azalea flowers are called "ツツジの花(tsutsujinohana)" in Japanese.
Incidentally, the abbreviations "ouka" and "toka" that you gave as examples are rarely used by modern Japanese in daily conversation.
@WinsWings
Thank you for choosing my piece for third place! I am happy because I didn't think I could win a prize.
This was my first time participating in the Challenge. It was a very fun challenge. I also enjoyed looking at the other participants' works that were submitted one after another.
I look forward to seeing what the next competition will be like. Thank you very much.
@Ownedpilot
Thanks for the comment. My work was made possible because of the current version of SP, which has more features such as slicing the fuselage, etc. You are amazing for making such a beautiful Hs P.75 four years ago.
@Alexandrovv
Sorry for the very late reply.
Thank you for your wonderful offer.
However, I have no plans at this time to build any other planes that will appear in "Sky Crawlers". Even if I receive the PDF data, it may be wasted.
If I want to make a plane that appears in "Sky Crawlers" in the future, please let me contact you.

This is my first time participating in the Challenge, so please let me know if I am making any mistakes.
@WinsWings
I too like pusher type airplanes and would love to participate in this challenge.
Is it correct that all I have to do to participate in this challenge is to download this post and submit my own work based on it?
@BogdanX
Sorry for the late response.
Thank you very much for your very thorough explanation.
I am looking forward to the tutorial video you mentioned before, but first I will install an appropriate text editor on my mobile (I play on an Android device) and try the method you described.
I would appreciate any further advice you can give me.
@林副统帅
I will tell you frankly.
I have changed my mind. I will not make A6M yet. Because the A6M is a special aircraft for me, and I want to make it after I improve my skills a little more. Sorry for being moody. But the work I make without enthusiasm will not be a good one. That's my theory.
@BogdanX
Thank you for your response. I see, you are using a text editor to replace the XML description. That was helpful.
Thanks also for the tutorial video creation. It is very helpful and I am sure there are many other SP users who can be helped by that video besides me.
I already follow your account. I look forward to the completion and publication of the tutorial video.
Uploaded v2 with additional aileron trim function. There is a link to v2 at the top of the description column.
I wanted to update the XML file, but for some reason it failed, so I am uploading it this way.
@BogdanX
Thank you very much for your advice. It is very helpful.
I have one very elementary question. You said "mass edit the xml file with all parts having calculateDrag set to false." Is it possible to mass edit the XML of the parts?
I always use OverLoad Mod to edit the XML of the parts one by one.
Or, if I want to set Mass Scale to all 0, for example, the fuselage parts of a wing section, I set MassScale of the fuselage part of the wing foundation to 0, and then build the wing from that part by "adding sections", so that all parts have MassScale of 0.
If you know of any other easier way to do batch editing, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
@BogdanX
@Rodrigo110
This is my view as the creator of this plane.
I intended to make this plane symmetrical. The fact that it autorolled means that there is a problem with my work and that the left and right sides are uneven. I should have either corrected this non-uniformity or given the pilot the ability to adjust the roll axis.
Well, I am now working on a version that allows roll axis adjustment with VTOL input. I will update the XML file when completed.
However, it will not have trim tab visualization. This is because I could not find out where the Sanka trim tabs are and what shape they are.
@FalcoOne
If you can read the "Sky Crawlers" series in your native language, please do so.
It may be a little poetic and difficult to understand in some parts, but it is a good work. My personal recommendation is "None But Air". It is the oldest story in the series. There are episodes that take place shortly after Sanka was deployed in actual warfare. I think the content is also easy to understand.
The animated movie is also a good work, although the taste is a little different from the novel. If you like airplanes (and of course you do), the beautiful aerial battle scenes are worth seeing.
@BogdanX
Thanks for the advice.
You make an astute point...I was aware of the roll glitches and lack of trim reproduction that you pointed out. You seem to have spotted that I am lazy in details....
I will try to reproduce details and deal with minor glitches as best I can in the future when I do my work.
