@Default4 It performs okay, except I have trouble taking off because it wants to veer to the right on the runway. That might an issue with low-quality (mobile) physics messing with the wheels. Other small suggestions: A trim lever and a switch/lever for landing gear would be nice. The airspeed gauge isn't working. I think you may have selected Airspeed Face Type instead of the Airspeed Preset. I know it's confusing and we want to improve that. The airspeed gauge is also a little small and the fuel gauge is much bigger, which makes me think their sizes could be switched since airspeed is a little more important to be able to read quickly than fuel. Overall it's a nice build.
Very cool idea and execution. I checked this out in VR and the grab points on the sail and rudder are too large and when I grab them my hand sinks inside of them, making them disappear. Other than that it's really cool.
@EdamCheese6 The VR view will work from any view, but on planes that aren't optimized for VR the cockpit view is very close to the fuselage and doesn't always look the best.
Check and see if there is also a file with the same name that ends in .bak. If there is, then make a copy of that file and rename it to Recovered.xml. Then open SimplePlanes and try to load Recovered.
@Dllama4 Let's not get too worked up about this. I mean, it's true we do want more money from you and we're not really adding anything of value, but once you look past that and realize that we have our own demands that we need to take care of. For example, I'm really hoping to put in a new, underground pool this summer but I just don't have enough money and the old pool is getting nasty and has some mildew problems, I mean, of course, we're going to ask our players to pay for that. Well, not that, I mean players should pay for the new awesome service we are adding.
@Hedero I would recommend restarting your device and see if that helps. If not, you should try re-installing. Be sure to upload any airplanes you want to keep before uninstalling.
For the 1.8 update, I've added a UI Size slider to the main menu settings. Changing the UI Size to 90% fixes the issue. Here's a screenshot.

@pilotElijah Honda has asked us to remove all Honda airplanes from the site. It was removed because it "potentially infringes Honda’s trademark and trade dress rights." Sorry about that.
Hey @MOPCKOEDNISHE, this is really impressive work. The level of detail and quality you’ve put into the models is outstanding.
You’re right that mods with executable code can’t be distributed through the Play Store, which is why Android doesn’t currently support them. At this point, we don’t have plans to add new modding tools or systems to SimplePlanes 1 since our focus is on SimplePlanes 2.
That said, when SimplePlanes 2 releases next year, we’d love to explore more flexible modding options. Would you be interested in porting your mod to SP2 when it’s out? It would be great to see your work make its way into the next generation of the game.
This is still one of my favorite planes on the site, especially in VR. I love the way it handles and it looks amazing, of course. Here it is flying in SP2 with our new pilot, Chad. Still handles just the way I remembered it!
@porgpilot crossplay between mobile and PC is something we hope to be able to accomplish, but there are some things to consider such as the terrain, water, etc may have different physics than between the two platforms so players will be experiencing the world differently so that's one of the challenges we'll have to figure out to make that possible.
@PlanariaLab We've updated our policy since that earlier comment. Players are no longer restricted to fuselage and block parts and are now allowed to use exported crafts from SimplePlanes in both personal and commercial projects under the following conditions:
Permission from Creators: If you plan to use community-created models, you must obtain explicit permission from the original creators who uploaded the airplanes, weapons, or other vehicles.
Proper Attribution: Please ensure that credit is given to both the original model creators and SimplePlanes within your project, such as in the credits section of your game.
Commercial Limitations: The exported models cannot be sold individually or distributed outside the context of your project.
We appreciate your interest and dedication to the SimplePlanes community. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out.
Cool design. Unfortunately, the flight stick doesn't work in VR. Other than that, it's a nice build.

+3Great photos! What camera and lens(es) are you shooting with?
+3@monke123456765456765 hi!
+3@JuanNotAnAlt if things go well, we might release this update as early as next week.
+3I'll fix it for you.
+3@Nofferston Sorry, no plans for Google cardboard support.
+3@poenix yes, mods should work with SPVR on Steam (not Oculus Quest).
+3@EdamCheese6 The VR view will work from any view, but on planes that aren't optimized for VR the cockpit view is very close to the fuselage and doesn't always look the best.
+3@Belloaka We kinda did. The game looks completely different now and the update is available now.
+3No, unfortunately, that's not possible.
+3@Grogu You can just email it to use at games@jundroo.com
+3You can check here for the XML file:
android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/files/AircraftDesignsCheck and see if there is also a file with the same name that ends in
+3.bak. If there is, then make a copy of that file and rename it to Recovered.xml. Then open SimplePlanes and try to load Recovered.@Dllama4 Also, I really want a new Tesla this summer. I hear they pay for themselves.

+3@AceOfSpade iOS should be available now for beta testing via TestFlight for those already on the beta testing list.
+3@RailfanEthan lol
+3@jamesPLANESii Sure. I'll add it to the list.
+3The tournament is live! May the AI be merciful on your designs!
+3@Nerfaddict Yep, that's where the name for the Pigpen aircraft came from.
+3If your wing with fuel is damaged, it can leak fuel.
+3@belugasub Yep, I linked it.
+3@Mattangi2 hehe! You are correct we never did specify September of which year....
+3@CRJ900Pilot @Nerfenthusiast We are now actively working on the mobile version. You can follow our progress here.
+3@jamesPLANESii You have to verify that you own your YouTube channel before your posts can be counted as OC.
+3@Hedero I would recommend restarting your device and see if that helps. If not, you should try re-installing. Be sure to upload any airplanes you want to keep before uninstalling.
+3@Chancey21 :D Actually, it was Kevin who took the screenshot with your plane. He didn't upvote it either!
+3We removed SP from Amazon Underground quite a while ago, however it is still available on the Amazon App Store.

+3@Awsomur @ColonelStriker @DemonSniper8 @RailfanEthan @CRJ900Pilot @Rodrigo110
This will be fixed in 1.8
+3@Notaleopard Okay, let me know if you can log in tomorrow (say....after 7AM CST).
+3@DerekSP Right after we finish the SimpleWheels MMORPG enhancements.
+3@Awsomur Not likely. That would require me to look at the BridgeBasher code again and I'm not sure I could stomach that.
+3@KidKromosone Kevin made the shuttle in SimpleRockets 2.
+3@KidKromosone Yep, we'll take some pictures and videos and share it on here during and after the event.
+3@Tully2001 Oh ya, that's my job. I guess I should get one started, eh?
+3@destroyerP I can do that. In fact, winner will get a SP Steam Key and a SR1 Steam Key.
+3Now, this is how to suggest an idea. Nice post!
+3Sorry but I can't allow this crap on our website.
+3I wouldn't worry too much about the reptiles taking over.
+3How many potatoes can it grow?
+3This build is sizzling hot!
+3@pilotElijah Honda has asked us to remove all Honda airplanes from the site. It was removed because it "potentially infringes Honda’s trademark and trade dress rights." Sorry about that.
+3Nice and simple and flies great. This one has my vote as a new stock plane.
