@Minecraftpoweer @Tank6376 If the tournament validator mod says your design is good, then you should be okay. I'll run a few validation checks on the server before the tournament as well.
@MTakach This mod just simply gives access to the already existing dev console that @NathanMikeska implemented ages ago. The dev console allows you to access game objects in the scene and change their properties while the game is running. It gives you a tremendous amount of power, but it can be a bit tedious especially on a mobile device.
@Nerfaddict Those violations wouldn't come from Overload. They are from using a prop engine prior to 1.8.305. See my pinned comment for more details. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@methirasoysa123 We don't have a timeline in place yet for the next SimplePlanes update, but it could possibly be as soon as next month or as late as December.
@MephilesTheDark We stream the tournament live on Twitch and then we upload the video to YouTube when it's over. We started doing this before YouTube had streaming. Maybe someday we'll just do it all on YT.
@Jim1the1Squid There are valid reasons this plane has been disqualified. One of the fuel tanks is using massScale="0.1" resulting in a nearly 1,000lbs reduction in its mass. That's a big violation. It also needs to have its propeller engine yanked off and have a new one added from the part list as I stated in the tournament post here.
Don't forget that you can use the Airplane Validator mod to validate an airplane on your device. Note: There is some subtle differences between that mod and the server's validation code with regards to propeller engines, but it can identify most issues.
If you failed validation and you are using a propeller engine, please replace your current propeller engine with a new one from the part list. Propeller engines added to an airplane from before the 1.8.305 update will likely fail validation.
@MephilesTheDark Your propeller engines are using slightly modified maxRPM. This probably means your aircraft is using propeller engines that were created before the 1.8.305 update. Replace your propeller engines with new ones pulled out from the part list and you should be good to go.
@Armyguy1534 He flew UH-1C in Vietnam. He talks here a bit about the different aircraft he flew after the war.
+2@WarHawk95 Thank you.
+1@Nerfaddict Yep, that's where the name for the Pigpen aircraft came from.
+3If your wing with fuel is damaged, it can leak fuel.
+3@Squirrel Yes, you can just give them the key.
@Squirrel let me know which game ya want, and I'll send you an email with the key.
@Nerfaddict Yes, a modded paint color should be fine.
@Minecraftpoweer @Tank6376 If the tournament validator mod says your design is good, then you should be okay. I'll run a few validation checks on the server before the tournament as well.
+1@Brendorkus Your airplane had weapons, so it was disqualified since that is against the rules.
+2@Chancey21 It's up now.
+1@belugasub Yep, I linked it.
+3@Leehopard Okay, you should be able to remove a post redirect now by just leaving the text field blank and clicking Submit.
+1@Leehopard Lol, sorry about that. I'll fix that soon so you can erase an existing redirect.
Thanks for letting me know. I fixed it so it should work now.
+8I just did a validation check. If your aircraft was in violation, you will have received a notification. No news is good news.
+4@Baldovino No problem, thanks for letting me know! Nice looking plane!
+1@Gameboi14 It's fixed now. Sorry about that.
@Baldovino Sorry about the part count. It's fixed now.
+1Try adding an exception for DEP. Here are instructions. You can find the SimplePlanes.exe here (assuming default Steam installation paths):
+4C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanes.exe
@jamesPLANESii yep
I'm sorry to see you go, but thank you for all the great contributions you've made to the community!
+48I'm getting a lot of questions from players who are not reading the rules. Before asking any questions, please read the Tournament Guide.
@Dinoairplanes Yep! This is my first mod.
+5@Jim1the1Squid No, this is nothing at all like Overload.
@Nerfaddict It's an aircraft race and it starts out on the ground, so you'll need landing gear.
@Jim1the1Squid No, you can participate in the new tournament.
@Nerfenthusiast Yes, unfortunately, it's on Maywar. We've never run a tournament on this course before.

+4@Minecraftpoweer It took a lot of convincing, but they finally let me back in the system. Those fools!

+1@Nerfaddict Modded Max RPM is greater than calculated RPM: 2952.756 > 1889.764 Modded Max RPM is greater than calculated RPM: 2952.756 > 1889.764
Thanks, @RailfanEthan!
+1@Thelegitpilot13 High
Congrats!

Are you saying the behavior is different on mobile than PC/Mac?
+1Here's the Twitch channel.

@Jim1the1Squid
@EarthwormJim Your aircraft passed validation.
@MephilesTheDark Your aircraft is good to go now.
+1@Jim1the1Squid Mass scale did not pass validation: 0.1 Modded Max RPM is greater than calculated RPM: 2500 > 2207.668
I just ran another validation check. If you did not receive a notification then your aircraft is good to go for the tournament on Sunday.
@MephilesTheDark I'll run another validation later today and check.
@Jim1the1Squid I have re-enabled it.
@Jim1the1Squid The plane you submitted for this tournament was uploaded from Android 1.8.1.0

+1@AZAMGAMING Your plane has weapons and several parts are using dragScale="0", which is an egregious violation.
