@Hedero I'm sorry to hear that. Do you know what specific things you are changing via Overload that are causing this to happen? It is possible to modify a part in some ways with Overload that could cause the game to be unable to save the aircraft. I would suspsect changing some parameters to 0 (especially mass or part scales) could cause an issue.
If you failed validation and you are using a propeller engine, please replace your current propeller engine with a new one from the part list. Propeller engines added to an airplane from before the 1.8.305 update will likely fail validation.
@TheMachinist If you have purchased SimplePlanes, then you should be able to get the update for free from the same app store you purchased it from when it is officially released.
@WarHawk95 I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Of course, everyone grieves differently, but I can ask my dad when I see him next. Also, I recently ran across this interview between Stephen Colbert and Anderson Cooper having a touching conversation about grief. They both lost their fathers at a young age.
@robloxweponco Okay, thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, that's not something I will be able to fix other than just prohibiting negative inputs for airbrakes. We can redo this tournament with this new rule in place next weekend.
I'm just trying to limp this tournament along to the finish, but tomorrow when I'm back in the office I would like to investigate what is causing the game to crash. If I can fix it, I'd like to do a redo tournament next Sunday. After that, I'll probably disallow airbrake propulsion for future tournaments.
Sorry @Chancey21, but I had to disqualify your entry because the game continued to crash with your design. It's not your design's fault, the game shouldn't crash, but in order to keep the tournament going, I had to DQ it.
@MyMessage I dropped the ball by not coming back to this post and fielding questions in the weeks leading up to today, but what in particular was not clear with regards to the rules?
There was another crash with this round. Not sure which plane is causing the game to crash. Obviously, the game shouldn't crash, but I might need to disqualify builds just to get the tournament to finish today.
@Tully2001 Modded Max RPM is greater than calculated RPM: 1900 > 1574.803 Modded Max RPM is greater than calculated RPM: 1900 > 1574.803
This probably means that you were using a propeller engine from before the 1.8.305 update, which happened a lot on the last Unlimited tournament. I should have done more validation tests, but I would also think that the in-game tournament validator would have caught that. Did it not catch it?
@SuperSanic I have bad news, but your build was dipping into the water and actually causing the game to crash so I had to disqualify it. It was a really cool build. Hopefully, it can compete in the next prop tournament without issue.

@CptJacobson We are waiting for Unity to release an update that will hopefully fix performance issues on some Android devices. When it comes out, we'll upgrade and submit a new update for SP. I'm not sure when that will be yet, but hopefully within the next 1-2 months.
lol, thank you but we don't need donations. Running ads on a website to recoup server costs is a standard business strategy.
@asteroidbook345 @Mustang51
It's 3 uploads in the past 24 hours, not necessarily 3 uploads per calendar day.
You can get the Steam beta by right-clicking SimplePlanes in your Library -> Properties -> Betas -> and select public-test from the dropdown list.
iOS and Google Play are not ready yet, but when they are you will be able to get access to the iOS beta here and the Google Play beta here.

@valaszki What problems are you having specifically?
@AnoniMosu No, I have not heard of the cannon lead indicator crash. Can you please elaborate.
@jamesPLANESii The beta has not been approved yet for iOS TestFlight.
@vcharng We just released a new beta. Here are the release notes.
You can get the Steam beta by right-clicking SimplePlanes in your Library -> Properties -> Betas -> and select public-test from the dropdown list.

Thanks for letting us know. This will be fixed in the next update.
+1@DeathStalker627 Can you give me direct link to any one that exhibits the problem so we can make sure we are investigating the right craft?
@ddweck32 See my pinned comment above.

I just ran a validation check. If your airplane was in violation, you will have received a notification.
@DeathStalker627 Do you have a link to the tank that you mentioned in your bug report?
@WrecklessRacer02 Please try updating to the beta version and see if it improves your performance.
You can get access to the iOS beta here. You can get the Google Play beta here.
@TheMachinist If you have purchased SimplePlanes, then you should be able to get the update for free from the same app store you purchased it from when it is officially released.
@Nerfaddict No, it's not an absolute no to merge the websites together someday. Who knows what the future holds.
@WrecklessRacer02 I'm a little confused as to which version of the game you are currently running. Are you using v1.9.101 or v1.9.202 of SimplePlanes?
@Nerfaddict Yes, I have considered it. It would be a lot of work, but it might make some things easier.
+2@Minecraftpoweer Sorry, but we don't have any plans to add Vizzy to SP.
@MTakach That's not something we can help with, unfortunately, but there is software that can sometimes recover files.
@AceOfSpade iOS should be available now for beta testing via TestFlight for those already on the beta testing list.
+3@vcharng Yes, control surfaces now accept FT inputs.
+1@DJS8Corporations No, unfortunately, mod support for Android will not be returning even with the Unity upgrade.
@MrPorg137 Correct, we are not running the beta on Amazon.
@SpicyLuckster What kind of device do you have?
@WarHawk95 I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Of course, everyone grieves differently, but I can ask my dad when I see him next. +5@SupremeDorian ha, whoops! Getting my SR2 and SP versions mixed up...
+2@RailfanEthan lol

@MyMessage Did you read the Tournament Guide?

@benjiboyy06 It looks like you removed your design prior to the tournament going live.
@MyMessage I dropped the ball by not coming back to this post and fielding questions in the weeks leading up to today, but what in particular was not clear with regards to the rules?
+1It appears that airbrakes might be causing the game to crash. Are some you using some kind of trickery with airbrakes for propulsion?

+1@jamesPLANESii Sure. I'll add it to the list.
+3@CrashFighter05 :D.....Hopefully someday when we upgrade to quantum computers.

+8@robloxweponco Sorry, but heli rotors are not allowed.
+1Winner gets a free copy of SimpleRockets 2 on Steam.
Congrats!

@TheFantasticTyphoon If you have auto-updates enabled on your device then it should.
