@ChrisPy I would guess that powering off might have something to do with it. The best way to prevent this is to save under different filenames occasionally. I will append a -1, -2, -3, etc to the end of the filename so that I can always go back to an old file. It protects you if one does become corrupt and it's also fun to look back at a project and see its progression over time.
One last thing you could check is if there is an _ _ editor _ _.bak file and try renaming that to Test.xml and see if you can load it and what it is.
@WalrusAircraft We've been waiting for the game development technologies to mature to the point where we could really build SimpleWheels the way it was meant to be. I'm not sure we're there yet, but we're getting closer.
I would recommend re-installing. You can use the Files app to copy files from the SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns folder to a folder outside of SimplePlanes. After you re-install, just copy the files back into SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns.
@Walvis The specific error you are getting appears to be a driver issue or a hardware issue based on this post. If you are sure the drivers are the newest ones from nvidia.com then unfortunately it is most likely a hardware issue.
Unfortunately, something is currently broken with the website and scores are not processing right now. I’ll fix it tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@BagelPlane hey, fair point, but plane people tend to like things "flying through the air"...so why not "flying through the air, but also occasionally through space?"
You cannot edit who posted the video. If you completed the verification process with BogdanX's YouTube channel then it would be possible to verify that as your channel and you would be able to post videos from that channel as OC.
If you rename your AN2Felllla account to something else like AN2FellllaOld, you can remove the Previously Known as entry for AN2Felllla from that account and then rename your primary account to AN2Felllla. However, your SR2 account will then be AN2FellllaOld. There's no way to join your current AN2Felllla SR2 account with your current JamesieMcPlanesieThe2st SP account.
I'm sorry to hear that. I would imagine that resetting your PC would get your laptop back to a working state. Just make sure you back up your files first.
Next time it crashes, can you send us the player.log file? You can find it by going to the Files app -> SimplePlanes. Or, even more helpful might be to send us the _ _ editor _ _ file under SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns.
After this happens again, can you get us your player.log file? You can find it in the Files app under SimplePlanes. Please, email that to us at games@jundroo.com
@sheepsblood You don't have the newest version, which is 1.10.105. Try closing Steam and reopening. Sometimes Steam won't grab the update right away, but that will force it. (Also make sure you are on the beta branch).
If you find a bug, please leave a comment on this post with the text "#bug" somewhere in the comment so I can easily find it. Also, include a link to an airplane that might help us reproduce the issue. This is a super tiny beta, so we're just keeping it simple.
Well, the plot thickens. Have you tried checking Windows Update and seeing if your PC needs to install any updates? I'm sorry for the mess. Normally installing drivers is not so painful. What games are not working now?
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm really confused because your player.log file first mentioned you had an AMD Radeon R5 M230, but when you posted the 2nd log file it now says you have an AMD Radeon HD 8500M.
My next suggestion would be to try using the Auto-Detect tool from AMD (direct link).

@typeZERO Ah, sorry to hear that. Also, I should have looked closer at your log file. You mentioned you aren't using any mods but the game is trying to load some. Try renaming your mods folder temporarily and see if that fixes the game.
You can find the Mods folder here: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes
Just rename it to Mods.Backup and then try starting SimplePlanes again.
Special thanks to @Vincent for making this video!
@Kittyhawk909 I appreciate your support of @MOPCKOEDNISHE and they are very talented, but we are not looking to grow the team at this time.
+11Nice work on this mod, it looks fantastic!

+1@ChrisPy Ah, if there is no .bak file then unfortunately there won't be a way to recover that file. Sorry I couldn't help more.
Check if there is a file with the same name but ending in ".bak"
If you’re leaving, then I’m leaving too.
+13@SupremeDorian impressive!
It's like a reunion in here! Good to see you @BoxGlow!
+7@WalrusAircraft We've been waiting for the game development technologies to mature to the point where we could really build SimpleWheels the way it was meant to be. I'm not sure we're there yet, but we're getting closer.
+13This only happens when editing a post/comment and not when creating a post/comment?
@Gestour nope
+1Yes, that's fine with us and I think think it's reasonable for you to put links to your Patreon on your profile page as well as your mod pages.
+2I would recommend re-installing. You can use the Files app to copy files from the SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns folder to a folder outside of SimplePlanes. After you re-install, just copy the files back into SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns.

It certainly looks like a hardware or driver issue.
+1A few things you can try:
1) Disable all mods and try restarting
+22) Disable Anti-aliasing
3) Update video card drivers
Okay, this should be fixed now.
Unfortunately, something is currently broken with the website and scores are not processing right now. I’ll fix it tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience.
+7@bjac0 we'll probably spend a bit more time with the SP community in 2021 than we did in 2020.
+15@BagelPlane hey, fair point, but plane people tend to like things "flying through the air"...so why not "flying through the air, but also occasionally through space?"
@Belloaka We kinda did. The game looks completely different now and the update is available now.
+3@Sweppingkid29withsp yup
+1@Lanc SP2 when, indeed.
+9@AN2FellllaSR2EditionYeet I removed the Previously Known As entries for AN2Felllla

+2No, unfortunately, that's not possible.
+3I'm sorry to hear that. I would imagine that resetting your PC would get your laptop back to a working state. Just make sure you back up your files first.
@Grogu You can just email it to use at games@jundroo.com
+3Next time it crashes, can you send us the player.log file? You can find it by going to the Files app -> SimplePlanes. Or, even more helpful might be to send us the _ _ editor _ _ file under SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns.
+2Actually, I was at negative one million, but thanks to a glitch in the system when I received my next upvote it reset my points back to 0.
@jamesPLANESii Order has been restored.
+1Okay, I tried to reset my points back to what they were but I made a mistake and now I can't find myself in the user list. Oh well, got stuff to do!
+1After this happens again, can you get us your player.log file? You can find it in the Files app under SimplePlanes. Please, email that to us at games@jundroo.com
+2@Yoloman2020 Do you have a link to the airplane that is exploding?
@Saleplouck Do you have a link to the airplane and what version of the game are you using? (As shown in main menu -> About).
Whoops! Thanks!
@Yoloman2020 what version of the game are you using? You can find it in the About page in the main menu.
@sheepsblood You don't have the newest version, which is 1.10.105. Try closing Steam and reopening. Sometimes Steam won't grab the update right away, but that will force it. (Also make sure you are on the beta branch).

Hehe...sure, we believe ya ;)
+2@Rakoval500k Where did you purchase SimplePlanes from? Maybe your firewall is blocking SimplePlanes.exe? Try adding an exception for it.
You can also try copying the URL of the airplane and pressing CTRL+L in the designer to download.
Yep, it's a new website update. You should have a dropdown option to select Unlisted. Sorry for the confusion.
At this point your best bet might be to Refresh Your PC without affecting your files in PC Settings -> General.
I would recommend backing up any aircraft designs and any other files that you care about beforehand.

You could try restoring to a Restore Point to reset your computer back to as it was before installing the drivers. Instructions here.
Also have you tried restarting your pc and checked if World of Warships needs to be updated? What about Windows Update?
+1@typeZERO Ah, sorry to hear that. Also, I should have looked closer at your log file. You mentioned you aren't using any mods but the game is trying to load some. Try renaming your mods folder temporarily and see if that fixes the game.

+1Mods.Backupand then try starting SimplePlanes again. That means a lot to me that SP has been a positive influence in your life. Thanks for playing and best of luck to you, @Chancey21!
