I took apart your CP-150 and I didn't see anything inherently wrong with the gear, if you were to upload an unlisted version of your new airplane and tag me on it, I could try to recreate the issue and fix it or give you pointers on how to do so. If everything else fails, there are some nice user made gears here that could you could use with visual modification.
I haven't uploaded in ages, wouldn't be surprised if some people had forgotten about me too. I'm also in the same boat, I have a load of unfinished creations that I likely won't upload.
@REW I have been building a tank using this chassis, and despite my best efforts I have done something wrong with the tracks and now they don't work very well. (they still work, but they appear to be snagging on something which is limiting my top speed to 3-4 mph) When I'm done, do you think you could help me get the tracks working properly again?
This cockpit already looked impressive enough, but I've been pulling it apart to parts for my own cockpit and yours is amazing. I really liked how you did the artificial horizon too, I've been struggling with building my own for a while.
Also, do you mind if I directly use some of your parts in my plane?
Definitely collab with other users. I found it was one of the better ways to learn. Also don't be afraid to ask for help. Most users here will give help or refer you to a person who could help.
@yoshicraze As far as I have observed, angled wings will produce their corresponding lift or down force. The last time I used these was definitely more than a version or two ago, so I cant guarantee they still work as intended. Once school gets out I can test to see if they still work and get back to you.
I thought I uploaded unlisted, too late now.
@LanceCombes lol
@andrewkorman47 the rotators connected to rear set of spheres produce way to much torque and cause the thing in the middle to spin. The games physics engine seems to think it makes a fine paddle,
@dsr1aviation the cockpit was .xml modded out of existence. See? There is nothing

@mattmck um yaeh. Use a file explorer. Go to main storage. then go to the floder marked android, IN that folder you will see 3 mare folder. select the one marked data. in there you should be able to find a folder with the simpleplanes logo on it. open that folder. open the mod folder in the simpleplanes folder. Then edit the name of the mod by replacing the 20% sings with spaces. then open simpleplanes and enable the mod. I dont know if this will work for you, but thats how i got it working on my tablet.
@CDRxavier lol yep. I made these long before countermeasures were added to the game. Come to think of it its more like chaff. I may revisit this and see if I can use the cloud or particles to block the missile, but I'm not sure.
@AdlerSteiner A while ago I was reading about the He-100, and I found this: " Performance with the 603N was projected to be 880 km/h (550 mph), in the same class as the Messerschmitt Me 262 pioneering jet fighter then entering service testing, which would have stood as a record for many years, even against specialist racing machines." wikipedia
I may make one, this is the first challenge I've been tempted to do in a while.
@HistoricBirds oh. Mine is USB connected too. If you want to use yaw with your joystick, without rudder pedals or a twist function you could using buttons. If your joystick has at least two buttons on it you can map them for left and right yaw.
I have a HOTAS T-Flight Thrustmaster Joystick. It doesn't have rudder pedals but has a rudder function by twisting the joystick. I've noticed that when I connect it in Simpleplanes the bindings are incorrect. I have to go in and reset the bindings to all axes to fly, you may have to go into your controls settings and and bind the joystick to get it to work.
Hope that helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
When you scale a wing down, the game treats the wing as the size it was before you scaled it down. For example, if you had a wing that you scaled down by 0.25, it would have the lift of four times it size.
@flyingsteve88 I watched the Hunger Games two days ago and thought it would be cool try and make something like that VTOL thing in SP, but you beat me to it.
I've had enough trouble staying on task with my ship...

+2@Jacobdaniel yeah, good point
+2@RailfanEthan @Chancey21 I know @HellFireKoder has all of the versions
+2Great Job @Skua, I found a new way to abuse Markup.

+2Cover me porkins!
If you add some fins for downforce and stabilization, it can hit the speed of sound before the end of the runway.
+1You could make a nice rally version of that...
+1@CDRxavier you can also xml mod a gun to have super ridiculous spread and an insane rate of fire

@DragonAerotech it does. Look at the next post in my posts. I broke that gun by changing the rate of fire
+1There are downladable maps @ctracerx2 has one, I know @isod89 has one, but I agree that the main map needs more islands
+1The scary thing is that this could happen anywhere at any moment
+1@JovianPat yeah, if you look at the super old planes you can see that background

+1Whew
Nice to see proper cockpit parts.
@ACE1089 I'm not gone, and I still play this game on a regular basis. Now that I'm in college, I just have the kind of free time I used too.
Alright, this is an airplane building game, lets see the Daladas of the Fates!
I had the pleasure if seeing one of these at the airport two weeks ago.
@RailfanEthan @DeezDucks ya'll should browse through my saved aircraft. I have tons of stuff I haven't uploaded because I'm not satisfied with it.
@Kalanimcd I have 1.8 beta, it's just exam week so I have no free time.
It's going to be a while before I have a chance to try it, but I like the creative way you used the hollow fuselage to create the cockpit.
Wow. I haven't seen you in forever

This post reminded me of this click bait I saw yesterday.

@shipster If you're even in Stockholm, I would recommend visiting it. Its an impressive sight.
@shipster they raised it off the bottom and built a museum around it.
I saw this ship in person. One of the most impressive things I've seen.

@UssInvincible Ah, thank you!
@UssInvincible I've figured that out, I don't have the time to download all the AA's on the site to see the rotation mechanism
