This is awesome! Have you ever tried Procreate or IbisPaint? I use IbisPaint and I’ve seen the works of other artists who use Procreate, they’re both very nice digital art applications.
You can set the power multiplier on the engines to a really low number, and then have an engine fine tuned inside the fuselage with a normal power multiplier, so that if an engine gets shot out, it doesn’t offset the center of thrust too much, if at all
@UltraLight well the Spitfire could certainly do a roll, it was a very maneuverable aircraft, it’s just that it couldn’t be upside down for prolonged periods of time.
@UltraLight lol yeah, funny thing is with most general aviation aircraft, is that doing a barrel roll or aileron roll, or pretty much any aerobatic maneuver in general violates FAA Regulations. I’ve actually been in the cockpit of a Cessna-172 and a Cessna-152, and I can tell you that there’s actually a little sign in the cockpit that says “Performing any aerobatic maneuvers in this aircraft is strictly prohibited“ or atleast something along the lines of that.
@WiiWiiTheMini One of the most talented you say? Huh, clearly you haven’t met like 90% of the platinum players here on SP, cause granted their build quality is much better than mine lol
Someone made a replica here of the specific BF-109 Trop that Franz Stigler flew, now we can fly the Ye Olde Pub that Charlie Brown and his crew piloted! (yes, his name was actually Charlie Brown and is in now way a reference to the Peanuts comics)
@KingOog000 well the AI Plane that you spawn in has to be either slower than you, or the exact same speed, in order to prevent it from kamikaziing you. If you’re faster, you can always decrease throttle until you’re moving the same speed, and if you’re the same speed at 100% throttle as the AI, then there’s no need for throttle adjustment. I recommend doing it with the same aircraft you’re flying, so both you and the AI have the exact same maneuverability, speed, acceleration, and agility.
@KnightOfRen yeah like why are people leaving comments in my couple month old rant as if it’s still relevant lmfao
It doesn’t even look like SimplePlanes anymore, it’s so impossibly beautiful looking.
+1@PhantomAviator must be very box-like in terms of fuselage design
+2@PvtJok3r yes. Throttle up.
This is why I love this community, the amount of banter here is unprecedented
+1Hint: if you can’t already tell what’s wrong, check the engines...
Finally, a good looking “Ye Olde Pub” on the SP Website, now I can re-enact the Franz Stigler and Charlie Brown encounter in SP!
+1Not bad actually
Haha funny among us go brrrr

This man spittin’ fax
Cool
@rexzion
+1@maggiebrandy
The warhead has an explosionScale value of 10, so it would probably be used for trolling.
Awesome!
Oh my god it’s so freaking beautiful
@WiiWiiTheMini I mean I can, it’d just be easier to do it in overload yourself. Plus, when you do it that way, you get more experienced!
pig

Yeah from my experience of using unarmed AI planes set to aggressive mode as virtual friends in game, they tend to kamikaze you.

I am the Lorax
+1I speak for the trees
Little did I know
They speak Vietnamese
Rest In Peace
@Smarty looks nice, but don’t beg for upvotes, it’s generally not welcome on the site.
@Nerfaddict
@QuitePossiblyMangled
Ahh piss, you’ve outsmarted me.
Instructions unclear; clogged the toilet with the plunger itself, and now it’s stuck
Probably something like this would be playing in the background
@BACconcordepilot that alone would be terrifying lmao
+4no no nO NO NO Don’t mention the forbidden website@TankerWithATankard Yeah that was JohnnyBoyThePilot’s Tic Tac UFO, however this one in the video is my own.
@WiiWiiTheMini ah ok, well thanks
@WiiWiiTheMini One of the most talented you say? Huh, clearly you haven’t met like 90% of the platinum players here on SP, cause granted their build quality is much better than mine lol
+1I think you’re a great user, you have nice builds, are generally friendly in the community, and you bring positivity to the website.
+2Holy crap it worked
+4I now know how to create custom missiles...
This won’t end well.
Alternatively, it’s a happy face with a big mustache!
+6YES IT’S BEEN THE SAME FOR ME TOO
Fixed it! I tagged you on an unlisted post :)
@Learpot oh lmao
Yeet

Bababooey
+3@WiiWiiTheMini if that’s the case, then it was probably Derp lol
T
ALooks better at SnowStone cause the exhaust from the missile you used for dust and whatnot getting kicked up kinda looks like snow in this context
+3@KnightOfRen true, I did make the TR-3A and the TR-6, but those aren’t anywhere close to how big the XFWB and the XFWAC are.
@Learpot oh no

@Learpot what
+3Good luck with the surgery, I imagine there’s a lot of emotions and thoughts going through your head rn. Cute little plane too!
