@24terrycast well this would obviously be easier irl than in SP, seeing that it wouldn’t be controlled by a drunk paraplegic; the AI doesn’t really control this aircraft very fluently. But it’s indeed possible in SP, you just gotta hope the AI doesn’t act up, and you have to be a good pilot of course.
@24terrycast of course it is! Read the description. It can accommodate hundreds of fighter aircrafts, all of which can easily take off from and land on the Actias’ Runway, complete with two ATC’s. Trust me, planes being capable of taking off from and landing on this thing is the least insane feature of the Actias.
@24terrycast make it small at first, and then scale it up to whatever size you want. Important to note that massive size means massive drag calculations, which means massive amounts of processing power are required to run it, usually enough to crash low end devices. So I recommend disabling drag calculations, and drag in general on all parts via Overload.
@AndrewGarrison aight, great to hear feedback! I may try to improve it when the challenge deadline passes, just so nobody accuses me of cheating or something stupid. I appreciate the suggestions!
@AndrewGarrison huh, sorry about that. I have no way of testing stuff in VR, idk how I’d go about troubleshooting with this. I could just scale the plane up, but then the size would be unrealistic, then again the cockpit of the SeaDart is actually kinda small looking irl, so maybe it’s fine? Idk lol, is it atleast useable and/or playable in VR, or does the small size hinder everything completely?
@X99STRIKER there’s a detacher inside the bomb, select the cockpit and use the part connections tool, you should see it. Kinda inconvenient actually, but I guess it works.
The point of a bomb whistle is purely for intimidation, just like the Jericho Sirens on the JU-87 Stuka. It’s just that much more scary to hear a high pitched whistling sound while on the battlefield, only getting closer and closer until it eventually impacts. Basically, it lets you know that you’re absolutely screwed before it even hits.
PSM Lobster sounds like something that we don’t necessarily need on the website, but nobody ever knew how much we wanted it until we got it. I’ll order 20 of them.
@Chillybaconface yeah I assumed so. It’d be cool if the Convoy could react to the player in the sense that if you’re in front of a truck and/or AA Tank, they turn around you accordingly, or if not that, atleast brake and stop.
@SupremeDorian that explains it rather efficiently actually, still I don’t understand why that hate needs to correlate to the SimplePlanes website. People are just weird on the internet I guess.
There’s so many good bits in this video, the Pyramid slamming back into the ground, the ADF hitting one of the convoy trucks as it lands, the Thrust Vectoring magic demonstrated inside the Pyramid as it took off, this is a great video.
@Pyrrha it’s just a copy paste thing, I only commented it for comical value. I don’t understand the hate for Taiwan either, but the comment section here is already chaos so why not. this website is where I found it, among lots of other large messages for people to copy and paste and attempt to be funny
@Vincent amogus
@jamesPLANESii heh yeah, that and the F-16 lol
+1This is very creative, there’s so much that we can do that has yet to be discovered!
@24terrycast nah it’s fine, and I agree lol

+1Just recently beat AC7 in hard mode, can confirm Hugin and Munin are very annoying with these things

‘Ery Noice
@Something5353 nonsense! You could always just use it yourself, and spawn in AI planes to SILENCE
+1Kinda reminds me of the T-75 Czechmate

Why yes Bandog, those fuel trucks are indeed filled with fuel.

@FlightSimPro the one about the IceBase?
@MrSilverWolf man I wish, I’ve never experienced MP but everyone always says it’s boring and desolate nowadays so idk
@frogbot4000 idk someone who’s actually a liberal may get mad for literally no reason lmao
+7for legal reasons this is a joke
No, but the idea would work nicer if Winches had some slack to them, and weren’t constantly taut regardless of how extended they are
+8PSM Lobster sounds like something that we don’t necessarily need on the website, but nobody ever knew how much we wanted it until we got it. I’ll order 20 of them.
+1FA-18 HUD on a BF-109 lol, but really well made for only 350 parts!
+1Adorable.
Man that was intense, this has Trigger VS Arsenal Bird vibes to it. Great job, I kinda want to try this but can’t because mobile :/
+1Looks kinda short and stubby, but oddly cute!
+2Speak softly and carry a big stick.
+1Specifically, a big stick with sharp and rusty nails/screws jutting out of it.
@Freerider2142 I’d have to agree, it’s fun doing it with the F-117 Nighthawk cause of how flat it is, meaning you can get real low
+1Yeah, not only is the list not in alphabetical order, but it’s also ridiculously laggy while scrolling for absolutely no reason
How many tries did it take to get this perfectly?
+1@XAircraftManufacturer
+5MCAS: “Hey 737 Max”
737: “What’s that?”
MCAS: “Look, a penny!”
737: “Oh boy a penny!”
85 Degree NosediveThis is amazing lol
+2The Wyvern is such a cool looking plane, take my updoot!
@OVO Explosive Reactive Armor
