Lets do some math. The game was released around 4 years ago. Most of the people were around 13 to 14 years old when they got the game and made an account because there are past rules about the minimum age to make an account. So the user should be around 17 to 18 years old now, which means they are getting ready for college or other future plans, so they may not be as active because of that. This is the situation I'm in right now. Life happens, people move on. I'm fine with that.
Though I think magnets could lead to some funky creations, what actual use will it provide? I doubt magnets are used much in the development of airplanes, tanks, cars, and boats, which is what SP is all about. Now they could be used on a mechanical project, however a majority of users don't do those types of projects. Rotators are a pain to deal with sometimes. Though that's my two cents.
@chancey21 Congrats, may you further succeed in your time at SP. However going off on what Epicpigster stated. You do post a ton of useless off topic posts. Yes there is a tag for off topic posts, however don't over use it. Users get tired, including my self when we see useless posts that are filling up the forum feed and that chokes out other cool post that have to do with on topic stuff. Plus to counter you argument on off topic posts for a reason, well free speech exist for a reason however you can't yell fire in a dark packed movie theature.
There will be times when I go to click the part settings button, and they won't display. I then have to click on another part, then back on that part to get the settings displayed.
Your screenshots are not working for me. But nice job. I like it. Though it would be cool if you made the the landing gear realistic. Just my thoughts.
With KSP, you get certain pars like a fuel tank or rover wheels and you can't change their shape or how they look. With SR2, the player gets a broader creativity spectrum. With SR2, the player can paint parts, change the size, rims, and tires of a rover wheel, and change the texture of fuselage/fuel tanks. That's why SR2 stands out.
FREE BIRD by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Doesn't get more American than that. (Besides the National Anthem of course). Also Huey Lewis and the News, and Men at Work are also fantastic to listen to.
I believe we also have to remember that SR2 is still in early access. SR2 has kinks in it's design that need to be worked out. As well, think what SR thought when SP was released. SR2 was not made to replace SP. If SR2 was made to replace SP, we would see more SP feature, which we don't. SR2 is supposed to rival KSP not SP. furthermore, SP most likely won't see SR2 parts or similar parts because then nobody would get SR2. The Devs haven't forgotten about SP, and they won't. SP was their biggest game. They are not going to piss off a majority of their players.
I just turned 3 years a couple of weeks ago! I do see the inactivity, but that is okay because the true followers will always be here. The one and done players will leave and the dedicated players will continue to play and upload.
The only thing I see is in the description you say "like butter through a knife." It should be the other way around. you don't slice knives with butter, you slice butter with knives.
I like to think of all the technological innovations that came from war. We wouldn't have jets if it wasn't for war.

+3Because it took a lot of space on the forum pages and the majority of the users on this site don't want to see role playing.
