That's right, I've developed Gears for various mechanics.
However it's 50% useful? It would be easier to use rotators but Gears can be much more fascinating to use.

I wanted to do more things but wasn't sure what people would find more interesting.
The gear Ratio here is 1:1 , You can add more teeth to the gears and have better ratios but when you use this little system I made here you can see how it doesn't seem to have impressive RPM. :/

The physics of the game just isn't accurate enough to handle things like that.
I think you will be better off with spheres (or hemispheres) with large friction values (and some mechanism to maintain contact between the two).
And, well, you know how the game treat all fuselage (no matter the edges) as cubes.
@Mikey101234 to be honest, I developed these gears to build a Manual Transmission and it's quite a lengthy process so far, I've been able to make a Clutch however.
Wow, although gears have already been a thing in this game before, these are actual nice looking gears. Now the thing to do is to try and make worm gears that look nice(yes they do work in game I made some before but they don’t look nice)
