Beaumont-Chevaldor
Introduction
The Beaumont Chevaldor was a shrapnel-protected gun-truck fitted with a 77mm artillery piece modified to have greater elevation to target enemy aircraft. By mid-1915, the War Ministry of Fleuregne passed the design of a 4-ton open-bed artillery truck meant to be a mobile artillery and anti-aircraft platform against emerging aircraft technology. Due to its weight along with the gun it carries, it needed a powerful engine, but rather than designing a new one, the Industries de Beaumont Sud-Ouest (IBSO) took early, replaced Inline-6 bomber engines and repurposed them for service.
By 1918, Chevaldor trucks were too expensive to maintain and manufacture en masse. The War Ministry of Fleuregne decided to move on by creating a new design tackling old mistakes made by the Chevaldor.
Chevaldor (Gold Horse) is a name given to it due to how expensive it was during production. By the end, a total of 564 trucks were made, a few hundred surviving the war. An early 37mm variant exists but few in numbers.

As my first ground vehicle (to have had effort put into it), I would like to hear what you think about the build to further improve next ones.
@ShiroNeko that explains it, thanks!
@spectre118. A themed-upload. All of us followed a specification or an era-appropriate theme to follow.
You, gibble and localdealer all made similar kinds of truck, is this for a challenge or just coincidence?
This looks like it belongs in one of those low poly unity games (you know the pla- I mean you know what im talking about)
@ShirakamiShimada
Had to have been planned, Shiro's done that before with two others like, a few years ago?
Ok why am i seeing 3 identical trucks in the site rn
Umazing!
