Yes, I am back to building tanks! Meet the Type 89, or "I-Go", a Japanese medium tank. Medium tank? Yes, it is a medium tank. Strange, huh? This little bucket of bolts doesn't have much to boast, but it is very fun tank to watch in the show Girls Und Panzer. In this show, the Type 89 is operated by Ooarai High School, and is crewed by a group of volley ball players, who are veiwed as "muscle brains" by the rest of the tank crews. This particular model has a flag, as it was Ooarai's flag tank in the battle against Pravda. How do I drive this thing? To drive, use pitch, and to steer, use roll. Remember that there is no need to constantly accelerate, or over steer. For turret traverse, us VTOL, and for gun laying, use trim. To activate your defensive machine guns, use group 1. They shoot and pivot with the main gun respsctively. Just mind the flag whilst turning the turret, and try to avoid blowing yourself up. Now, this tank does feature suspension, but I couldn't find any information on what type of suspension it was, so went ahead and implemented my own. If anyone wants it to be changed, please leave a link to some plans, so I can modify it, and post it as a special version. Oh, and those things I said about the Pershing aren't going to stop me from building it, just keep in mind that you peeps like, and I don't... Enjoy!

I hope that someone can replicate without those touchy physics going off, as well!

@RAF1 Oh god. Can I reenact that scene?

Based on SP physics the Maus will probably explode from the Hetzer's ram.

You probably know what I'm talking about. (We have the Panzer IV, Hetzer, and Type 89 + Maus = ?)

It is a work in progress, along with the Maus. Don't worry, it will be here soon!

I always start by just laying a bunch of 5x5 fuselage pieces down, until I get something that looks proportional to the turret. I a
Also look at plans, and figure out how long the hull should be to the turret, and how wide it should be. Of course, all of this requires a well made turret. I hope that helps.

How do you go about starting the tank body? The turret for me is the easy part, but I can never get the body right. It always feels off.
