No, your eyes do not deceive you. This is an F-14 in the Aerospace Defense Command of the United States Air Force, and it almost came into being.

I'm gonna have to nitpick back:
This is not the same model as the production F-14B. This aircraft, which was actually a mockup, was based off of Grumman designs that were designated F-14B. The "B" designation was later used for the actual F-14B.
Soooo...
Sorry, but I have to nitpick this. It's what I always do to Tomcats on this website.
First:The wings; what everyone gets wrong with the Tomcat (that or calling the RIO a WSO, luckily, that wasn't an issue). The wings should sweep at a higher speed, and not in a three position way. The wings gradually sweep depending on speed, altitude, and G. I also noticed some glitches with connections where the inboard portion of the slats on the port wing was connected to the spoilers. The spoilers also moved together when rolling one way (my guess is something happened while mirroring the aircraft). The slats are manually deployed with the flaps and tilt down, not just slide forward. The HUD is from a D, not a B I think. You can't really see the HUD in the A and B.
Second:More on the spoilers and airbrakes. The top portion of the airbrake/speedbrake is absent. The spoilers do not deploy with the airbrakes, they are separate.
Other than that great build!
I'm glad you made the wings automatic, that's a huge thing people often miss.

This is the best looking F-14 that I can actually download and I love it! I couldn't help but fix the slats (or stabs? idk). The left side was connected to the airbrake, probably from mirroring as you had mentioned. The big problem I'm having seems to be asymmetric lift. I've checked all the hidden wings (slats, mid aircraft, stabilators and nose) and all seem to be symmetric. Any Ideas? Besides that, 10/10.

I could give some insight toward the one you're developing. I fly in DCS, which I take as pretty much the real thing. It's as close as 90% of the world can get to a real F-14, so might as well use it that way.
