History: The project of experimental interceptor V-452 produced a Construction group No.9 GDVI. The main designer was Bešlin a main
aerodynamicist engineer Levacic. The prototype was built by Ikarus company. V-452 was a prototype of the first domestic jet with swept-wing. Though officially classified as a light on an experimental interceptor, because of its two jet t engines weak (overall thrust of 300 daN) and armament of only 2 machine guns of 12.7 mm was, in fact, just such a flying scale model aircraft. Built prototype was a twin-engine (with the engine installed in the rear part of the fuselage) and was intended, in the further development, and the version with three V-engine 452-3. The first pre-flight was conducted on 24 July 1953. Due to engine failure, probably due to an error in the fuel, the plane suffered the accident and is no longer made. During the accident, the pilot Tugomir Prebeg was injured but survived.
Laki experimental interceptor V-452-2 had only one member of the crew. The fuselage, wings and empennage (tail gredasti carriers) were the metal structures. Lightning wing was 360 and had been provided and the slats on the outside of the wing. The vertical tail surfaces were duplicate, placed on two beams emanating from the central part of the wing and the horizontal tail is supported on the central part of the hull and attached to two vertical tail. Landing gear was retractable tricycle type. According to calculations of the speed the plane was supposed to be 750 km / h and the length of the take-off 945 m.
Flights V-452-3 is supposed to have three identical engine Turbomeca Palas takeoff thrust 157 daN each. Normal thrust of these engines was 128 daN after the engine. The aerodynamic shape of the aircraft was supposed to be the same as in previous versions. This plane was pretvideno testing at altitudes around 10,000 m. Armament was increased compared to the previous version and should consist of a cannon Hispano HS 404 20 mm caliber and one 12.7 mm Browning machine guns.
Finally, it was planned and 425M version with two motors Marbore II thrust of about 400 daN each. I was with him aerodynamic configurations remain the same or increase in the dimensions of about 8%. Although this plane was classified as a light interceptor is not clear to help with the overall thrust of only 800 daN constructed a lightweight fighter armed with two 20 mm cannon Hispano HS 404. In the best case, and this could only be a model for testing the aerodynamic onfiguracije which would be used to construct a larger aircraft featured significantly more powerful engines. Anyway, crashed planes V-452-2 completely abandoned this aerodynamic configuration, although it is quite promising.

    @Somethingismadebyme nema na čemu. Pročitao sam opis, pa znam o čemu se radi, ali ga nisam video ranije. Šteta što nije uspeo. Bio bi to dobar avion.
