Republic P-47N Thunderbolt

Auto Credit Based on EpicPigster1's (1A)

10K special coming soon! Credit to CRJ900Pilot for the basis on the landing gear!

Here it is, a project that I have repeatedly been shelving and ignoring for the better part of a week now! I started this plane right after the Helldiver, but I ignored it in favor of the XP-72. Well, now I finished it, and it's filled with goodies!

By the way, the P-47 is by far my favorite plane ever, so I hope I did it justice with this replica.

Controls:
VTOL: Flaps
AG1: Lights
CAM 1: Cockpit View W/ Gunsight

Equipped with 2 2000 pound bombs and 8 M2 Browning .50 caliber machine guns.

It's 1:1 scale, and features realistic handling (as in it flies like a truck). Drop the bombs and use the flaps to improve maneuverability by about 1000%. Take off at around 200mph, and make sure to pitch up. Landing is at around 150 to 180mph depending on approach speed and angle. DO NOT LAND WITH BOMBS ON, ALTHOUGH IT IS DOABLE IT IS NOT ADVISED.

Have fun!

I could imagine with its weight. It was like heavier than a b-17 I think @EpicPigster1

@CRJ900Pilot Well, for a plane of it's weight, it did, but it wasn't maneuverable and had a poor climb rate because it was so big and heavy. It had a good roll rate and incredible dive rate though.
