Development

The development of the ship was dated back to 2049 and were intended as a replacement for the Königlicher Hafen amphibious assault ships. However, further reconsideration was made and the intended design were changed from being a replacement into a complimenting new carriers or flagship of a certain strike group. The design was finished in 2054 and construction begun on 2057. The first ship, Sudwart, was launched in 2059 and was completed the same year. She was commissioned in 2060.

Aircraft Cruisers are unique type of warships. they were a mixture of cruiser or a battleship and an aircraft carrier. They begin to be experimented in the early 1930s with floatplanes. In WW2, the Japanese successfully rebuilt their Ise-class battleships into a hybrid carriers by replacing the rear pair guns with a flight deck with 3 floatplanes. Forward to the Cold War Era, Nations developed a variant of Aircraft Cruisers known as Helicopter Cruisers and served throughout the Cold War era.

In Great Country, Aircraft Cruisers continued to serve in certain Nations. They were known as the Ultimate All-Around Warships because of their capability as an Aircraft Carrier and capability of a Surface Warship. However, only the Crystal Navy was known for using Aircraft Cruisers since 1940s till the present day.
