The Lightning Aircraft Industries NJ-96 is a side-by-side two-seater general aviation aircraft that was planned in 2003, first flew 6 months after and delivery to customers commenced in 2004. The design of the NJ-96 is loosely inspired by the 'Aero AT3 R100'. It is powered by an LAI (Lightning Aircraft Industries) GF-31Z 900 HP piston engine which powers a set of counter-rotating propellers.

AG1 - Nose Wheel Steering (ONLY use on the ground when taxing)
AG2 - Landing Light
AG3 - Strobe and Beacon Lights
VTOL down - Flaps
G - Retract/Lower Landing Gear
(I recommend using the mouse controls to fly this aircraft).

Takeoff and Landing procedures:

For takeoff, set flaps to halfway, then full throttle, wait until you reach 118 MPH, then raise the nose to the first line on the Virtual Horizon and keep the nose there to have a smooth climb.

For landing, have an approach speed of 140 to 150 MPH with full flaps and touch down at 130 MPH. When landing, keep the nose at the first line on the Virtual Horizon to try and make a smooth landing.

Features include:
Antennas
Winglets
Window for shouting "Clear Prop"
Steps for getting on the wings
Etc...
