Taipan Industries has proudly announced that production of the TC2X is now beginning thanks to a decent amount of interest in the original concept. The TC2X is a family of short-medium haul aircraft designed to compete against other aircraft such as the Embraer E-Jet or Mitsubishi MRJ. The plane is made almost completely out of composite materials, making the plane lighter and more fuel efficient than its competitors. It also means that the TC2X is cheap to maintain and operate.
This version, the TC23-A, is designed to seat around 110 passengers. It is the longest in the TC2X family and meant to compete against the E-190, MRJ-90, SSJ-100-95, CS300, etc. The -A means that this aircraft is equipped with 2 Taipan TJF320 jets.

This flies beautifully! I took off at Murphy and landed perfectly(and even taxied into the hanger) at Wright South!
