M.Corp F-3 Hawk

242k EternalDarkness  6.6 years ago

M.Corp F-3 is a small area defence fighter with limited ground attack capability. Fast, and agile, it does a great job as a low-to-medium level interceptor. Being reliable, cheap, and mechanically simple, it is ideal for on-budget air forces. It's cutting edge electronics are guaranteed to provide high level of effectiveness in combat. Use of light but very durable composites combined with the top quality duralumin ensures a very long airframe life, which, combined with the rugged and reliable M.Corp Troyan engine, provides low maintenance costs.

M.Corp F-3 Hawk is built for one mission: intercepting low level penetrations of the airspace. It excels in low altitude, short range combat. Usually armed with heat seeking missiles, it can very quickly acquire target and launch. Its 27mm revolver cannon with very high muzzle velocity provides pilot with high firepower, allowing him to keep fighting even after he spends all missiles.

F-3 can be scrambled at the moment's notice. With M.Corp Troyan engine's quick automated start, F-3 can go from hangar to the air in under 10 minutes. Well trained crew can safely arm and fuel it while the engine is heating up, since all hardpoints, gun magazine hatch, and fuel tank hatches are behind the intakes.

Instructions:
AG1 = afterburner;
AG2 = drag chutes (not that it needs any).

Enjoy

    @Unknownguy1210 I could probably achieve the same quality with hundred fewer parts now. This build is ancient.

    @EternalDarkness this plane is invincible, one rear stabiliser was blown off with a scrape on the ground and it flew perfectly, albeit at low speeds

    This thing is excellent. I certainly wouldn't want to be informed that I've got one coming up on my 6.
