I observed that, but alas I am only a moderator and not a psychologist.
I hate it when users do this, and that's why I always try to keep those who want to be the center of attention in check.
I honestly feel bad for the kid. There is obviously something wrong there, just not cancer.
I'm an adult, and shouldn't be arguing with children, but faking a disease for attention makes my skin crawl.
