Description:
The IL-2 Shturmovik is a ground attack aircraft designed and produced in the Soviet Union in large numbers (Wiki). This variant uses Shvetsov M-82IR on a later version of the airframe(fictional variant I made).
Armaments:
- 2x 7.62mm ShKAS Machine guns (750 round per gun)
- 2x 23mm VYa-23 Cannons (150 rounds per gun)
- 1x 12.7mm Berezin UB Machine gun (300 rounds)
Payloads
- 4x RS-132 rockets
- 4x 100kg FAB-100 bombs
Features:
- Built according to real blueprints, specifications, and certain elements from different variants mixed together(1:1 scale and mass close to real one)
- Auto aiming(activated by AG4) and camera aiming capable tail gun(default).
- Flap rip and wing rip physics due to overspeed.
- Wing flutter physics(script from GuyFolk), visible when reaching speeds over 535 km/h
- Simplified and functional cockpit optimized for VR usage

- This iteration of the IL-2(M-82) does use a different canopy, which is taken from the IL-2 mod. 1943, thus the name of this build(fictional variant).

If it’s okay with you, I’m going to replicate the design of the wings and tail on the plane I’m working on . I’m using it as a reference, not just copy-and-paste.
@Alisuchanka looking at how you can switch modes for the tail gunner makes me feel building the Boulton Paul Defiant on my own is going to be even more difficult than i thought.
