After production of the "final edition" variants had finished in 1995, Bruno Maggiora tried to convince Lancia to continue the Delta with a third evolution which was realized in the Delta HF Integrale "Viola", the one and only "Evo 3" car named by its intense violet color.

End of the line for Lancia Rallye Division.

Lancia did produce the successor to the Delta Integrale--the Hyena. In 1995 Fiat pulled the plug on Lancia's racing Division and most of the Hyenas were never completed, let alone rally ambitions, as homologation numbers were far from being met.
