The Yakovlev Yak-15 was a first-generation Soviet turbojet fighter developed by the Yakovlev design bureau (OKB) immediately after World War II. It used a reverse-engineered German Junkers Jumo 004 engine. Along with the Swedish Saab 21R, it was one of only two jets to be successfully converted from a piston-powered aircraft and enter production. 280 aircraft were built in 1947. @XePec I now understand the compromise between maneuverability and the tilt. I tried to correct it but found that it made your amazing aircraft near impossible to control. I love this plane and I am happy to put up with the tilt as it handles amazingly.
@AtomicAviator I was an attempt to balance it so that it is not bent upwards. This weighting of the bow. Unfortunately, it reduced its maneuverability. I'll be glad if you find a way to balance it. Why did I put it flaps? Although they are well stabilizes the aircraft, lifting them up.
Amazing aircraft! Absolutely love it apart from the slight imbalance causing it to tilt upwards. With your permission I would like to alter the balance and upload with full credit. @XePec.
