The A-10 (Thunderbolt II) is an American single-seat, twin-engine attack aircraft, often nicknamed the Warthog or Hog.
The A-10 is the only aircraft in service in the U.S. Air Force responsible for providing intensive support to ground forces, including attacking enemy tanks, armed vehicles, and critical ground targets.
