T-65 X-Wing

After a long time contemplating on what to build, as well as taking some time for my own projects, I have finally built the infamous T-65 X-Wing from the original Star Wars trilogy. I love planes, and I love space planes even more, so it made sense to me that I would make an X-Wing. I saw several X-Wings already on SP, there were several T-70 variant made by “ThePilotDude” that looked really good, however the T-65s I saw did not seem to have a very accurate recreation, either the fuselage, the engine, the weapons, etc. So here is my own rendition of the Incom Corporation’s T-65 X-Wing, as flown by Luke Skywalker.

If you are still using this version, you can find the new one here

This planes has many functional features, such as:

  • Landing Gears
  • S-Foils
  • Proton Torpedos [Rockets]
  • Laser Cannons [without sound effects :( ]
  • Inertial Dampers [Gyroscope]
  • Vertical Take Off
  • Targeting Computer

It also features some cool details:

  • Markings based on Luke’s Red Five as seen on “A New Hope” and “The Mandalorian” finale
  • Pink Engine Afterburner
  • Internal Cockpit
  • R2-D2 (unfortunately he doesn’t beep)
  • Realistic Design

AG6: Toggle Targeting Computer
AG7: Toggle S-Foil (Left Green Light in Cockpit)
AG8: Toggle from VTOL to Normal & Toggle Gyroscope(Left Yellow Light in Cockpit)
Gears: Landing Gear (Left Red Light in Cockpit)
Flight: Normal Controls
VTOL: Fly Up/Down

If your X-Wing starts spinning uncontrollably, just click AG8 and it will automatically stabilize.

Simply push the VTOL slider up for the plane to take off, once in the air, increase your throttle and click AG8. Don’t forget to close your landing gear, and remember, the force will be with you, always ;)

@GeneralGeneraltheKenobi you can click AG8 to deactivate the stabilizer, and after you do the flight is a little weird because of how small the “real” wings are, but thank you :)
