Welcome to defensive warships!

  • Defensive warships have been something I’ve experimented with for a while now in the form of my “literal hell” series that I never released. (“LHI” stands for Literal Hell: Improved) Only now have I been able to improve on them due to making the more advanced FT wise defensive bombers, and they’ve turned out way better than before.

  • The Defensive warships series hopes to make killing AI warship targets with aircraft 10x harder. (and fun) All ships have a semi-realistic AA complement, with guns that all have semi-realistic ranges, muzzle velocities, firing arcs, and etc.

    The Fletcher class was a class of destroyers built by the United States during World War II. The class was designed in 1939, as a result of dissatisfaction with the earlier destroyer leader types of the Porter and Somers classes. Some went on to serve during the Korean War and into the Vietnam War.

  • I’m pretty happy with how well this works, the FT process was not fun…
  • Since this is a new series, please let me know if there’s anything I can do to improve on it, or give suggestions on warships to modify. (I’m half-willing to make my own ships from scratch for this)

    I'd like to ask for the same permission as Ayanon. I'm not certain if I'd make any public builds with it, but I'd definitely like to build a few ships using these codes for personal use or maybe for teaser videos, is that okay? I'd give credit to you on any public post of course

    @TemporaryReplacement I'm excited to see a Defensive Tank too, especially once we have swarm versions so we can have AA tanks, death bombers, and monster warships attacking at once (RiP in advance PEA P-51, he picked on one too many Defensive Bombers).


    Also, since the Skink is an AA tank, I'll probably make a Centurion, Patton and MAYBE some sort of Soviet tank (preferably an IS-3) too so we can also have conventional tank-to-tank combat

    I have arrived (tag on all Defensive Series please :)
    The Trio is almost complete! Defensive Bombers, Defensive Warships, now all we need are (optional) Defensive Fighters and Defensive Tanks.
    Good news is, although I have yet to post each of them, I've finished all the PEAs on my immediate list! (not the whole list, just the immediate one ending with the Buccaneer) That means I'm free to FINALLY start making a Skink AA Tank to complete the triad!


    Issue being it'll be a while for release ;-; Tomorrow is A6M, Wednesday is G8N, Thursday is B-29, Friday is Tu-4, and Saturday is Buccaneer, but once that's done we'll finally have a Skink!

    @TemporaryReplacement. Something like this is rare, quite possibly non-existent in the site. As someone who likes to build ships rather than other else, this is quite a treat as the code for the anti-aircraft can also be used for surface combat with a bit of tweaks.
