Dassault Balzac V (v.1)

33.1k Bernkastel  4.2 years ago

Ugh, tried hard to replicate the Balzac V... here comes the French VTOL testbed.

(It might be hard to control anyways...)

Dassault Balzac V

The Dassault Balzac V was a French vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) testbed of the early 1960s. It was built by Dassault Aviation from a prototype Mirage III aircraft to test the configuration for the Mirage IIIV. The sole example was badly damaged during its second flight test accident and was not repaired

-from Wikipedia

AG3 - VTOL mode with gyro controls. VTOL up for hover. Transition - set main throttle to halfway then disable AG3.

AG5 - Airbrakes.

AG8 - turn off gyroscope

@MBR6753 well, in french "french bread" means pain français.
The "baguette" is only one of all the bread types we have.
And since I'm french I can tell you baguette isn't equal to french bread.
