Let's start with my begging gone thingie, I won't be active from Monday the 24th to monday the 1st (next month) so yeah, I'll be fishing and doing some other stuff... I'll fly alone to live with my friend in his summer house while he and his family drive there lol.
If you want to know if I died or not my flights are DY4005 &DY4006, so if either have crashed I might be dead.
Ok so that's over with let's start with upvotes.
This is just how I do it so if it doesn't work for you there's nothing I can do about it.
1 Announcement forums, you announce what you will do and have some details like what features you want to make for the plane or whatever, pictures of some early progress or if it's a replica show a pic of whatever it is.
2 Progress forum(s)
You build and you take pics of progress, simple. You might be able to show off some features.
And then later when you're almost done you can choose to make another progress forum (like atleast a couple of days after the 1st one, if the build is done in 1 day, 1 forum is definently more than enough) also this one is more if you have any cool features to show off aswell....
3 Teasers
Yea you just make a teaser, and teasers without pics are basically pointless. Saying what features it has also helps.
4 posting, you take nice pics and have a description already written, I usually write in in the notes program on window and paste it in on the site later, I leave the description ingame as "soon"
... also you tag everyone who showed interest in teasers and or progress posts.
5 The fake upvote button that is actually real, I actually did it the 1st time on the 263 and it can grant you up to 10 upvotes or more.
It had a long description so an upvote button at the top helps lazy people and people with less than 30 points can upvote aswell... like atleast 10 of them did on the 263.
To do this you upload a picture and make it work as an upvote link.. I asked someone to get the upvote link for me... because you can't see the upvote button on your own stuff.... but now I realized that if you hover over the make comment thing the number Id of your post is there so you can just edit the link yo make it an upvote one..
(To be clear the image should be an upvote button)

@MintLynx Yea but I just find it easier to just press the windows button, type note and enter. It opens without any loading time or anything and is just more convenient. Also thanks.
I myself have made my descriptions in word before copy-pasting them onto the upload post. The fake-but-actually-real upvote button is quite the cool discovery! I was wondering how that was being done.

Yea features are kind of obsolete for me too, as most of my builds get on the front page within a day. @Minecraftpoweer

@belugasub and it seems to be working, I can't really count on features, now I'm plat but I could never really count on it. I got featured a total of 2 times, my price car and the crane, it helps a lot with upvotes but also g as I keep my strategy going I reach the front page and actually surpassed featured stuff.
@Ryn176 yes I think they're great, it is only like a 1 hour flight, they were the cheapest but I think they're amazing... also free wifi onboard.
