There is a person at my school that I like. I’ve known them for almost a year.
Lately they have been ignoring me and have this new obsession with a boy band. I keep getting really upset and not being able to get stuff done.
Does anyone have any advice?

Try to talk to her, but also respect her space. Sometimes people get distant periodically - though you probably know the most about the situation, since you have all the context. Either way, just be friendly and don't sweat it (easier said than done, I know).

So basically you are in a bit worse situation than me. But don't worry. Try to make some contact, ask about homework, ask if you can sit with her (if you're allowed to change your place). And try to ask about music I guess?
Or just ignore me as I didn't make much progress for the 2 years of trying to get her...
