(SOLVED) How to properly resize air brakes/spoilers???

25.1k JohnnyBoythePilot  5.8 years ago

Every time I resize a spoiler/air brake it shapes back to the square form when deployed. Like if I make it rectangular, and then deploy it, it warps into a square shape when deployed. How do I resize these properly?

@JohnnyBoythePilot i think the length/width of the airbrake needs to be equal to its thickness, something like that. I'm pretty sure that my Orion has rectangular airbrakes, you can check it out if you wanna.

Oh so you can't change the length of them?

Ok, but how come I see other's have resized their air brakes in rectangular shapes?

you need to resize the height and the length at the same value, so if the length is 8 then the height needs to be 8 for it to be the same size

I don't see anyone else having this problem. For me, I resize the air brake into a shape (ie. long rectangle), and when it deploys it warps back into it's original square shape, but when it's not deployed it warps into the resized shape.
