Does anyone know how to disable cowl flaps?

I'm currently building a beaver, and as you probably know, it doesn't have functional cowl flaps. It just has a fixed hole at the back of the engine. Does anyone know?

@WEAPONSMITH I've seen that episode countless times, I just decided it would be time to change gears.

@jamesPLANESii nope.... Except to make that engine do nothing and use a hidden engine.
Perhaps you could build a custom engine, scale the stock engine down and then scale up the prop (diameter controls overall scale).

You can with xml I think, just change how it works. When you said you were building a beaver I thought you meant the animal lmao

For example, any of my mechs, or my space battleship "low part version"

In my past xp with such projects, i find that building the engine as a sub, then building the plane, then frakensteining the two together actually works really well

RIP. Idk any toher solutions, especially because the way SP is codded, i dont think it is even possible to disable them, short of coding an engine from scratch @jamesPLANESii

    I don't really want to do that. :/ @Exofalt

That would skyrocket the part count and make building in that area incredibly fiddly. @Exofalt

I would reccomend cutsom building an engine, for example, taking the small engine, building something that looks like the big engine around it, and XML modding its HP
