So, I'm just going to say that this post is Hippocratic because I am making it in the first place. However, I need I need to get my point across.
SimplePlanes is NOT falling apart. however, it may start to slowly crumble because more people are "retiring" or leaving, and although it is sad to see them go, there are very good reasons.
Everybody is complaining about drama, and in my opinion, all they are doing is making more drama, kind of like the firestorm that's going to be in the comments below due to my drama-creating post.
Yes, I agree SimplePlanes was much better in the old days, and that it all went sour dating all the way back to Jelly and Weaselzone. Since then, you see some copies that thank God get no attention. You see users who put no effort into their builds getting 50 upvotes each effortless build, which is only because at that time users were very naïve. I helped this specific user which you all know and hate start his SP career, and I eventually also realized what was going on. He almost beat Delphinus and SpiritusRaptor to 100k. After that ended and he deleted his account TWICE, everything seemed good until very recently, where the worm infestation has ended, and TOO MANY PEOPLE are leaving due to all of the drama, using the fact that they have little time as a cover to hide under. Also, if any of you haven't noticed, Delphinus deleted his account as of the other month.
You all see my point, we are critically injured as a community. We are going off of time and life support. We need to STOP worrying about things, and actually take action against them. We need people to be more active and to get into less flame wars about things like politics, feelings, etc. Stop making pointless forum posts, and stop openly saying you hate a user, because you might as well say it to their face in person. @ForeverPie it truly is... To me when very popular people and friends leave it feels like youre losing someone from the army and that when they leave you have to honor them and yet still keep the memory of that day. And that's what it feels like right know a bunch of soldiers perishing and I think we should as a community come together and remember the loss of fellow creators.

This community is still the nicest community on the net, it's just people are all talking about it as though it's not, which makes everyone else think it isn't good. Personaly, appart from the TSAD and Masters argument a week ago, I haven't seen any scraps, appart from forum posts telling us all to stop... So I think we should just stop with posts like this, because really they're just tearing the community appart, instead of making us think about what we are doing.
I reckon most of the drama is caused by people talking about how there's so much drama. If these posts didn't get made, bearly anyone would notice anything out of the ordinairy...

@ForeverPie I agree the community is slowly falling apart and that possibly in the future that we may only have 1 to 5 people left here but yea back then was great before I joined I literally sat and read post by post then decided to join so I can welcome users and to spread positivity and then here we are know with users leaving for good and I hope that this will all change but it probably won't but I hope it dose

@SAC923 I remember back when forum posts were like, 90% 'This is the friendliest online community I know!' Now, it's all changed. Like recently, I got blocked from a user just because I pointed out that they used the front part of someone else's plane (I was right: they deleted and reuploaded it a few times and whenever I upvoted it they deleted it, then they blocked me)
