So, I decided, I really, really, REALLY wanted in that base cause I'm sick of SAMs as I'm only trying to drive around in Snowstone. So, I took my personal modified Jackal MK-III Model 2016-with zero weapons-and flew it straight past the missile turrets, landed-well, crash landed-on the runway behind the missile turrets, then saved my crash site as a location. I then exited and loaded in a car I'm working on, drove around, a bit trying to get outside to kill the turrets, but before I could, my game said LOCATION DISCOVERED!!!
So now I have discovered ice base without using weapons
This is a true story, I swear to every divine being ever. Cool, eh?
I got there on a guided missle with a main cockpit on it
I somehow made it in without a plane (technically). I was flying a plane at the base, a missile exploded it, and the cockpit flew fast enough at the rocks above the base to glitch inside of it.
It was fun.
I did something similar with USS Beast :P
What? This isn't a big deal. I got into ice with the kicking fish. I smashed into its top mountain and my cockpit landed in the ice base. It was then WEEKS AFTER that constant playing and having fun in the ice base was that THEN! I discovered location.
I have been a Long time but I did not get the location
