Okay, so SP2's MP is AMAZING. I think what the devs have done with the game is SPOT ON and I'm super excited to see how building in the game is!
Anyway, have some screensots of some of my best memories of the play test!
The first thing I did after waking up at 3AM on a work day to play the game on its release, was bring in a plane I half finished in SP1 that was designed to be indestructable and invincible in dogfights, so I could have a go at getting out of the testing area. It ummm didn't work obviously, but it did make for some fun shenanigans with the missiles lol

The next thing I did was load some of my favourite builds and current projects to see how they ran in SP2. The performance is SO MUCH BETTER. Planes with 3000+ parts run as smooth as planes with about 500 parts in SP! And with no stutters! But of course, since this is a public test version of SP2, there are a couple of bugs.
I also tried giving my Weka's interior textures, which I unfortunately forgot to screenshot. But here's a picture of it made of wood lmao
And of course I did HEAPS of MP shenanigans!
And of course there was way more stuff that I was unable to capture in screenshots. Orrrrrrrrr just simply forgot.
Damn, it's a shame it's only available for a week! I guess I'm just gonna have to slog it out for 4 months now...

@Korzalerke2147483647 I think the baseline for SP2 will probably be higher than for SP1 since SP2 has better graphics and a more detailed world, but in terms of CPU, if you can run a few hundred parts in SP1, you should easily be able to run over 1000 in SP2.
I can't say for certain though. My PC is pretty powerful and I have a very powerful CPU, so it's quite difficult to judge.

Would you say based on this demo that SP2 could be expected to run reasonably (well, at least as well as SP1) on a potato pc? And by potato, I really mean potato, like no GPU, 8gb ram and all that fun stuff
@jamesPLANESii How bad was SP1 multiplayer?
@dekanii It lags a bit more, but it lags SIGNIFICANTLY less than MP does in SP1. Most of the time I was in MP I was getting 50-60 fps unless someone was firing guns or blowing stuff up.

When you play on multiplayer mode, does it lags your PC or it runs as smooth as you were to play it on singleplayer
